This was a fun, unique and interesting read. It is a work of fiction that builds on real people, their lives and ideas.
These people the book writes about are 20th century scientists. The geniuses of that era. The author describes how even the brightest minds, when peering into the abyssal depths of the physical laws of our world, go absolutely insane.
I found the prose very nice although I will be confused sometimes at the depth of writing the author is employing. Especially when it comes to describing the abstract mathematics or scientific ideas.
Every paragraph in this book, aside from the Prussian Blue chapter, is a blended mix of fact and fiction. It would have been nice to somehow know which part is fact, and which is fiction.
An entertaining read nevertheless, and I still feel like I learned something about the wild world of physics in the 20th century in a fun way.
