So the Graphic novel format allowed me to complete more than the books could make me. To me its still not compelling enough because it spends too much time politicking rather than exploring the future. The Silo's itself continue to be a very interesting concept but storytelling is much more than an idea and for me that's where Wool just does not tick enough boxes. What should have been thoughtful became pretty mundane and that's that.
I guess I became too curious after seeing the Apple TV show. This was clearly condensed but to the point of being so rushed the characters become unidimensional blurs. I guess I'll now wait for the TV show.
Seems like a neat idea, but the graphic novel feels more like a brief introduction more than an entire book.
Artwork is pretty good, but all in all, I felt it needed more to it.
Might well check out the novels at some point.
