Very good book! Very character driven with a light sprinkling of story. An excellent mix of quality and quantity, which kept me interested the whole time. Didn't see the ending coming, which was a brilliant close to the story.

Thoroughly hoping for a second!

Such a vivid and meditative piece of writing. As someone who is quite logically minded, changed the way I look at the wilderness.

Enjoyable like the first! The lack of any real overarching mystery detracts a bit, but there's still a lot to be had from this fantasy world. As someone who has never visited Yale, I enjoyed the descriptions of campus immensely.

Super cool premise, loads of fun language facts, and some interesting ideas about colonialism and racism.

That said there's a lot of words in here, and not that much happening. I think I personally prefer faster paced books.

Definitely worth a read!

7/10 Excellent young adult SciFi. Something like Necromancer gets the hunger games esque YA treatment. I enjoyed it a lot!

If you're looking for an easy and friendly way to get into SciFi, this would be a good avenue.

Also the cover is lit

If you really want to grasp the ins and outs of nanopore sequencing up to 2019, this is pretty much the single best option

More please

A simple short story, conveys well how garbage being stranded at sea for 10 days would be, in minimal prose

So good! I'd class this as an everyone story, easy to read, well structured and charming. Probably my favorite Neil Gaiman book, just a lovely story to read on a rainy afternoon.

As a fan of the games and show, this was super fun and easy to read. Bit of a non ending, which is fine as I fully intern to read the next few as well!

Hell yeah! An apt installment in the series. Perhaps not as clear (in my opinion) as the first two, but a good continuation and discussion of consciousness.

Felt a bit shallow, didn't figure out who did it though so that was nice. On the other hand as I didn't feel that invested in the characters, I wasn't really that fussed!

Best since the first trilogy!
That said, if you're only familiar with this series then you might be confused, there is some assumed cosmere knowledge

Very fun, still confused

Absolutely fantastic ending to a phenomenally well written series, which really makes you think about the meaning of words!

I've really enjoyed being challenged by the themes and meaning behind the subtext of this book.

Good, although without Miller the book is not as rich as the first. Holden just goes about being a bit of a Mary Sue, and there is a lack of protomolecule.

That said, the Sci-Fi aspect is excellent in my opinion, and overall I enjoyed the read.

Are people really sure this is a childrens book? It's very well written and deals with some complex topics

Enjoyable story - if a little straightforward. Good holiday read.

Despite spending roughly 60% with only the vaguest notion of what the hell is going on, and a but sad about the stylistic change, the 40% made this (in my eyes) even better than the first.

Probably worth refreshing yourself on the previous 3 so you remember what on earth is going on, but more excellent world building but one of the best!

Slow to start, picked up at the end.
