Stacy Willingham is my fave psychological thriller author so I instantly requested this one. Every book I read by her is a hit. She’s done it once more with Forget Me Not.
Set in the South, this story packs a punch combining lost girls, lost time, and secrets. Our main character, a journalist, sets out to a family owned farm called Galloway. There she discovers a hidden journal, secrets, lies, and deception—that only Willingham can deliver to her readers.
The story starts a bit slow as it sets up the storyline, but by seven chapters in, in true Stacy Willingham style, I was completely hooked. This is one of those stories that grips you by the collar and won’t let go. I found myself binge listening until I was finished.
As I said, the story is gripping and just builds as it goes. There are shocking revelations that had me gasping!
Audiobook narration was clear and concise and narrator was easy to listen to and understand.
Please do yourself a favor and read/listen to this one (as well as the author’s other works).
Thank you Negalley and Macmillan!
