Well photographed and easy to follow.

Good book to get you out there and get you going. Works a lot like the couch to 5k programs where you start out slowly and ramp up till you are running 30 minutes or longer. Great program, engaging, and inspiring real people stories are slowly turning this non-runner into someone who is enjoying exercise for the first time.

The last 1/3 of the book was rushed and is not a complete story within itself. Disappointing, as the first 2/3 was quite good.

His book “Way of the Peaceful Warrior” is still his best work. This one was OK but as another reviewer said nothing really fresh. Much respect though.

Good book about intuitive running. Get's a little dense at times.

Standard information

Not only is this ageist it offers no material that can't be found on the internet or in any other book on drawing.

The first half of this book is five stars and the last half is three stars so I gave it a four. I have to say that I probably worship Pat Conroy's writing a little more than is healthy but every time I read one of his books I know I'm in for a great story. And with that I'm satisfied.

Excellent book.

This goes beyond self-help/biography and gives you directed steps on how to achieve your version of what the author is in the midst of the journey of achieving.

Check out his website too. chrisguillebeau.com

It is dense, intellectual, philosophical, and asks a reader to examine their own beliefs, biases, and prejudices rather than just going along for the ride while the author tells a story. It is a subtle call to action painted against the backdrop of the JFK 50 ultra-marathon. I had to read this small book (232) pages in measured doses as there was so much to take in. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a book that make you feel as well as think.[book:The Longest Race:

Excellent book!

My favorite quote, “How much do you get paid to watch TV?”

Snap!

I've recently taken on the challenge of a couch to 5K program. This book came along at the perfect time. I'm getting ready to go into week 5, day 3 on the program. Prior to this you walked, then ran, then walked, then ran etc. gradually increasing your time running. The upcoming run though is walk 5 minutes then run 20 minutes. YIKES.

Bingham's book helped me to understand that I have to run to my ability. On the next run I may or may not be able to run a full 20 minutes. I hope I do but if I don't I know that sometime soon I will.

Thank you Mr. Bingham for giving me courage. In so many ways you've described me and what it's like to become an adult onset athlete.

A couple of good tips. The problem is you have to know the basics of drawing before any of these types of books will help much.

There is good information about proportion, measuring, blocking, and reference points.

Excellently rendered. Chilling from start to finish!

Ending was a bit of a copout, but we'll written.

Coming of age tale told by a Master Storyteller.

The ending did not fit the story arc and was disappointing.

Started out pretty good but seemed to fall apart for me.

Clear, concise, and doable. Frankly could have been written as a pamphlet. I've been following the plan which basically consists of fasting for 16 hours and then eating what you want during an eight hour period. I want to wait a few weeks to see how it plays out but so far I have lost some weight and it has been fairly easy.

Pretty good but I think the thing that bothered me was that the author started relying so much on Charlie to move the action forward, i.e. need the police to come - have Charlie hide in a drain-pipe...need for Little Bee to be caught have Charlie suddenly break away and run towards her to single her out. There were other instances, so it was just OK for me.

The critical change information is solid and applicable. The fiction story is an admirable effort.

Good writer. Good book.

Interestingly enough a book about learning to be fluent in a new language does not translate so well to the audio format.

Excellent!

Informative read with action steps that you can start using today whether you're close to retirement or not. It details the best ways to save and invest while living and enjoying your life before and after you “retire”.

It's causing me to re-examine a few things I've been doing and will have me doubling down on income investing.

Thanks Wes!
