This book was fantastic. Bridget and Simon's story and how they met were extremely hilarious, and it was the cherry on top when they found out they were going to be housemates!

Their relationship is playful and flirtatious. I laughed out at both their interactions and their innermost thoughts. Their connection is great, and the sexual tension is palpable. The buildup creates a fantastic intensity, and I honestly enjoyed every moment of waiting for it all to happen for them.

Once we get through the amusing and lighthearted moments, we can really witness the emotional moments between them and, occasionally, with Bridget's son.

It was exciting to read the lighter moments when the couples' back-and-forth antics kept me amused. However, there were several moments in the novel that made me cry.

Bianca isn't scared to go after what she wants or to express herself. Her strong will almost drive her to resist her attraction to Dex. Despite the fact that Dex is well-off and could easily be a jerk, he handles her sentiments with care. This couple makes you swoon!

There were unexpected twists that had a significant impact on the couple's trip and a very genuine life lesson. It was all worth it in the end

A funny & engaging romance.

Carter is the standard pilot man-whore with a taste for music. He's beautiful and has a quick wit. He doesn't waver once he's committed & doesn't succumb to old habits.

Kendall is struggling with her own problems, attempting to flee into the skies. This chance transforms & teaches her the actual meaning of life.

I loved their chemistry, the jokes, the striving for adventure & the songs. This story will have you laughing, swooning, hurting, and rejoicing and will ultimately leave you with a happy journey

This book sucked me in from the beginning, it was hilarious and I fell in love with both characters.

Soraya and Graham meet in an unusual and exciting way. All it takes is a dropped phone for this story to begin.

Graham is quite attractive, however, he is extremely rude at first. In the office, he was harsh and bossy, but he also had a kind side with a strong love for his family, General Hospital & strawberry Nesquik. Soraya is the more endearing character. I admired her willingness to call him out on his nonsense. With her sarcasm and sharp advice. She is self-assured in her individuality. With her, Graham turned into the most caring partner any woman could possibly hope for.

These two, are able to see beyond outer appearances and find themselves gradually falling in love with one other. Although their previous experiences influenced their perceptions of love, they are able to openly express their emotions, and they battle through it.

Aubrey and her sexy Australian stranger, Chance, embarked on an exciting adventure!

I adored both of their characters, as well as their unexpected relationship! Aubrey had so much more bravery than she gave herself credit for. She not only travelled across the country in search of a new beginning, but she also agreed to let a complete stranger into her automobile, which completely shook me out! On their crazy voyage, there were definitely sparks flying! Chance's quick wit and fun with Aubrey were hilarious. He pushed all of her boundaries and got her to move outside of her comfort zone and be herself. He appeared to be sincere and lovely, and she was rather feisty! Chance's determination, loyalty, and, romanticism too! I was pleased to witness Aubrey find her footing and enthusiasm on her own terms.

Then there was the goat, who had me laughing from the time he was introduced into the story!

I must admit that I did not anticipate the narrative evolving in the way that it did.. Not at all. The crescendo of emotion had completely burst, and then.. I was so annoyed by their circumstances, and they just appeared to be destined for each other! However, I usually appreciate a little yearning and angst, and I believe that's what made the narrative so good. It could have been easy for Aubrey and Chance, but their struggle kept me interested and guessing. Although the second part of the novel helped carry on for me, it also made the ending all the more satisfying!

Hard Evidence was a complete play on my emotions.

I laughed a lot while reading this book, the dialogues were funny.

Pamela Clare's writing style is impeccable, her themes informative and realistic. Not only is she the sweetest, but I also realised how amazing this author is as she introduced us to the world of investigative journalism. In fact, even after reading a short chapter, you get the feeling that she knows exactly what she is talking about in her books. No wonder her I-Teams series is so popular!

Tessa and Julian. I enjoyed reading their story.

The rougher edges are noticeably softer, the love "conflict" is more emotionally driven, and there are no significant exterior obstacles to contend with. Of course, there's Burton's required smoking hot male lead, sassy intellectual female, a strong plot, and some heavy, heavy smexying throughout. I like how this storey presents itself to you. It begins with a VERY HOT pleasuring sequence and only gets better from there.

Burton does a good job of creating Savannah and Cole's connection while also revealing them as people. Beginning as a business connection, Burton maintains a healthy balance between the romance and the primary plot, despite the great physical chemistry. Savannah elicits Cole's personality, allowing us and her to get to know the real Cole. She quickly finds that he is far more complicated than she gave him credit for, and that he is nothing like the media portrays him to be. Cole prefers to keep his personal and professional lives separate, but his outgoing attitude works against him.

Despite the fact that this is portrayed from Savannah's point of view, I felt as if I came to know Cole's character much better than Savannah's. Savannah is a beautiful and educated woman. She is also quite private, and the book reflects that. She, like Cole, prefers to keep her personal and professional lives separate, and I thought it fascinating how she pushed Cole to expose everything about his personal life to her while struggling to do the same. She says and does all the right things, but you can tell she's hiding something.

This book's sexual heat and humour made it a fun, abet, HOT read. Ms. Burton has a knack of creating passionate passages that are both sensual and honest, and neither of her characters is afraid to express their desires.

I enjoy seeing old Rileys as well as meeting new Rileys. Their noisy, nosy personalities are balanced by their love for one another, albeit Liz continues to irritate me on a minor level for reasons I don't understand. They know no bounds and will be up in your business in an instant, offering advise, encouragement, and the traditional slap upside the head when necessary. Savannah adores the Rileys, and you can tell that this is the family she desires and requires in her life.

Jaci Burton's Play by Play series continues in Changing The Game, the second novel in the very hot and very seductive.

I truly liked how this narrative unfolded.

It begins hot and heavy as Gavin and Liz begin their admittedly sexual relationship—each of them experiencing far more than they anticipated. Then it gradually evolves into something deeper as Liz and Gavin connect on multiple levels. Ms. Burton has a knack for creating strong sequences that are both sensual and raw, and the sexual heat and playfulness in this book are definitely worth the read.

It's a pleasure to meet Gavin's family and friends. I appreciate how they all offer counsel, support, and the proverbial swat in the backside when necessary. Gavin and Mick maybe star on the field, but to their family and friends, they are just Gavin and Mick. It's heartbreaking to see Mick continuously abuse Liz, and all you can do is watch while she apologizes and begs forgiveness. You really want to hit him in the face. Several times and forcefully. I appreciate Tara and Nathan's ability to forgive and rejoice for Gavin and Liz.

We get to know Liz better as the story continues, and her background reveals a lot about her attitude and behaviors. Growing up wasn't easy for her, and it left an unforgettable impression on her. She and Gavin's relationship has its ups and downs, and the story's primary conflict adds to the wonderful tension. We all have the power to hurt those we love the most in any relationship, and Ms. Burton doesn't sugarcoat or pull any punches in this.

As the game nears its conclusion, we wait on pins and needles with the rest of the Rileys to see if the home team will win or lose this crucial game. One scene, in particular, had me in tears when someone speaks out of turn and says the worst thing they can to someone they care about. However, sometimes you have to lose everything in order to see what you truly want out of life.

It was entertaining to watch the sparks fly between Gavin and Liz. This wasn't one of those stories where there's a lot of drama and a lot of things happen at the same time that the main pair falls in love. No, this was a simple romance in which the tale rested on the reader relating with the characters, and it worked well for me. I wanted to read a baseball romance after being utterly captivated with the World Series and my Dodgers' spectacular season, and this book met the bill perfectly.

Gavin was a typical younger brother. He does not want to live in his brother's shadow but rather wants to shine on his own. I had a great time getting to know him and watching him connect with Liz. I really appreciated observing his relationship with his family. The Rileys were family goals, and it was great to see them again. Don't get me wrong, there were times when I wanted to strangle him for being such a jerk, but he gets it right in the end, Liz's love for him was strong, and I was glad he was able to put things right with her before it was too late.

Liz was a strong heroine, and I enjoyed getting to know her. She was sorry for her behavior in the incident with Mick and his family, and I appreciated that she had learned her lesson and wanted to make things right for everyone involved. She was a mature adult who handled everything that came her way in the same manner that I hoped I would, and I simply admired the crap out of her after all was said and done. She was a good person on the inside and out, and she worked hard and loved deeply. I was overjoyed when she finally received her happy ending because I genuinely believed she deserved it.

Overall, a wonderful story with enough romance, sexy males, hot sensual kissing, and humor to keep you turning the pages till the very end.

Changing the Game was a sassy sports romance with an even sassier leading guy.

The Perfect Play is an erotic romance. Mick Riley, a professional football player, and Tara, the owner of an event planning company and a single mother to her adolescent son, Nathan.

Mick and Tara are attractive characters.

I think it was clear from the start that Mick was a decent guy who not only treated Tara with respect but was also very kind and decent to her son Nathan.

Pamela Clare's I-Team series is one of my favorites. When I open her novel, I know I'm in for an emotional, sensuous, crazy, and hazardous adventure. I'm sure I'll laugh. I'm going to cry. Her characters will captivate me. I'll savor the passion, sensitivity, and romance of their love-making. I'll be on the tip of my seat, hoping that those folks get through their ordeal as swiftly and painlessly as possible. The author gave us a sexy hot stud in the form of Zach McBride.

Zach is an ex-military officer who is now a U.S. Marshall in Mexico, investigating Los Zetas and its boss, who is accused of kidnapping, torturing, and murdering young women for his savage rituals.

Natalie is far more powerful than he could have imagined. Despite the odds, she is the one who manages to free herself from her bonds and then assists Zach in escaping. Natalie is not only attractive but also a strong woman, and their desire for each other is immediate once they are free. Natalie and Zach both have pasts that they must confront before they can be free to give one other their hearts, but that doesn't stop them from joking around and finding solace in each other after their ordeal. Zach first tries to deny his desire to Natalie. He has "rules" that he does not like to breach. She knows what she wants and goes after it.

P. Claire does an excellent job of incorporating current events into a story full of adventure and suspense. You will be filled with shock, contempt, and disbelief that these atrocities happen to people in the modern world. She keeps you on the edge of your seat while also injecting a lot of emotion into the plot. She does an excellent job of reintroducing earlier characters and incorporating them into the current story. If you've read the earlier I-Team novels, you'll be relieved to know that Marc, Julian, and Gabe receive some page time. These men are protective of Natalie and are skeptical of Zach at first, but they are ready to join in and back him up when Natalie's life is in danger. It's evident that each of them would take a bullet for the other, and they'll go to any length to get the task done.

Naked Edge to me is more raw, elemental and spiritual as it shows Kat's Navajo traditions and beliefs. It was so very different from the other books, but still very compelling and involving!

This book was so culturally rich that I felt like I was learning along with Gabe as she explained her beliefs and traditions. I felt like it went beyond the superficial customs and delved beneath the surface into the why of their traditions. Instead, it's about her spiritual connection to the earth and nature around her, as well as her Navajo traditions.

Not only was this a perfect way to move the plot along, but it made Kat more real to me. You could sense that she cares about her faith. Even though she lives in Denver, she's still a reservation girl.

Gabe's problems are nothing new in Romancelandia, but they're portrayed well and realistically. One thing I liked about the book was the distinct difference in tone between Kat's and Gabe's points of view in the narrative. People are well characterized when you can tell whose perspective is being told just by the writing, word choice, and syntax, and that was the case here. I was a bit annoyed by the paragraph breaks between POVs, but both Gabe and Kat had strong voices throughout the narrative.

Gabriel Rossiter was the star in this book! Clare manages to make me love each of her characters, especially her heroes. But for some reason, I felt that Gabe's POV stood out among the others. I LOVED reading into his thoughts. How he longed for Kat, how he struggled with his feelings for her, how feelings of sadness and anger for Jill fluctuated with each other. All of this made me love him even more! To me, Gabe represented the ultimate alpha with his protectiveness. But there was one more thing that made me love him so much... it was the fact that throughout the whole thing, he never made promises he couldn't keep. He never told Kat about his feelings. He let her know what he could and couldn't give her without revealing the secrets of his past. I've to respect that.

Gabe and Kat had a solid relationship that felt completely genuine and natural. The book really pulled me in and I enjoyed the emotional journey the story took me on with the characters.

Clare puts so much heart into her little books. She manages to make me laugh and cry in equal measure, making each book a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Naked Edge is no exception.

I've been a fan of this series since the first book. A paranormal element was added to the story in book 4, Whispers in the Dark.

This novel moves us away from KGI in a way. We see some of the previous characters, but you could read this without having read any of the other books in the series.

Rio's alpha maleness contrasted nicely with Grace's kind demeanor. Grace, on the other hand, has a steely backbone when she is forced to gamble her life to get out of a position.

While previous books were light on love scenes, this one is a touch deeper, but far too fast. Rio's love and concern for Grace made me want to cry. I simply wish there had been more Kellys in the mix to assist.

Marc and Sophie were perfect for each other and their romance was sweet, hot, and sexy as hell. Marc is a genuinely good guy, he always puts other people first and he will stand up for the people he loves no matter what it costs him. I had my suspicions about a certain thing from fairly early on but even if I'd been proved wrong I would still have been 100% behind Marc and his actions.

This series tackles some very difficult subjects that can make for uncomfortable reading at times - we've had big businesses trying to hide the environmental damage they are causing, political corruption, human trafficking, and slavery and now we get a look at prison corruption and drug dealing - but it is always done in an incredibly informative way and it's obvious the author has a great deal of knowledge about these issues. In spite of the darkness of these stories, she is also incredibly good at infusing some light-hearted humor and fantasy romances.

This series really is a perfect example of what good romantic suspense is all about and I can't wait to carry on reading it.

You guys, the Kelly brothers always make me feel everything! So why am I surprised that Nathan would do such a thing to me? I believe this is because the twins, Nathan and Joe, haven't been around as often as the other Kelly brothers. We've only seen them on rare occasions till now. Those two will undoubtedly win your heart.

This book featured all of the excitement we've come to anticipate from this series: kidnappings, firearms, helicopters, you name it, this series has it. However, this particular book carried a hint of something...more. Something...out of the ordinary. It was definitely an unusual twist. Another difference was the ending, which, although bringing some closure to Nathan and Shea's narrative, does not totally end it. When you've finished the last page, it's clear that the narrative isn't over. I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

I was curious what would happen to Nathan, one of the twins and the youngest Kelly brother after he was kidnapped by the enemy. While I understand why the novel turned out the way it did, especially with the paranormal parts, I just couldn't get on board with the extraordinary in an ordinary world. Leaving that aside for a moment, I believe the book would have received an A+ if it without those parts.

I've always been a fan of the Kelly brothers, and this book didn't disappoint. The brothers have a fantastic and incredible connection together, and even as their wives became engaged with Nathan and Shea, they each had their own strengths to contribute to the problem at hand, and still came together as a family when they were most needed. I enjoyed getting a glimpse into the lives of the previous couples and hope that Banks continues to feature more of the Kelly family throughout the series.

I also thought the suspense was beautifully done. Nathan was still in captivity with the enemy at the start, and every page flip made me want to cry for him. But after he was out and had a chance to recuperate, he went straight back to being that tough trained soldier, coming through for Shea when she needed it the most.

The relationship between Shea and Nathan was perhaps my favorite part of the novel. They had a deep and sincere connection to one another because of the paranormal element, and despite the fact that their declarations of love came on relatively suddenly, it was also believable and authentic to their relationship. I adored these two together.

The suspense was well done, the characters drew me in and had me falling in love, and the romance was so nicely done and hot. It was only the one HUGE elephant in the room that made me nervous. I always look forward to the next book in this series since I adore all of the characters who have already been introduced.

It's wonderful to read a series about investigative journalists with such well-drawn, complex characters and stories whose actions are driven by the characters!

The I-Team work together and their stories are somewhat intertwined.

This first book brings together an unusual duo - Kara, an investigative reporter trying to raise her son alone while being the best writer she can be. Reece, a sexy senator who has his own set of issues and has a bimbo-looking sister.

The story follows Kara as she tries to uncover a story that's very dangerous for people who try to stick their noses into things that are none of their business. Kara can't turn away from the story because it's really good, and because she can't turn away, things get a little ugly. In addition to the dramatic story, she's trying to be a good mother to her 4-year-old son Connor and not fall in love with the sexy Senator Sheridan.

I liked the chemistry between Reese and Kara. You could feel the sexual tension building between them from their first scene together. In my opinion, Clare did an exceptional job of bringing their romance together. The romance between the two, the story following Kara, and everything else was an exciting roller coaster ride that I just fell in love with. This book is, as my friends would say when they're really excited about something, "the business".

I can't say enough good things about this book.

Reese was a hot guy. I totally loved him. He was so sexy that I wanted to find him and fall all over him. He was smart, sexy, and he was oh so swoon-worthy.

I loved him.

I enjoyed getting to know these two. Together and apart they were great. Pamela Clare really knows how to write entertaining, engaging, and very charming stories that never fail to delight me. I loved it and can't wait to read the next book in this series. I love, love, love it! If you haven't read this series yet, you definitely should because it's awesome!

This book kept me up late at night and I'd check the door several times to make sure I locked it! Check your doors again and read this book. It's suspenseful throughout and has a satisfying ending.

That's Garrett's book. Garrett was my favorite character in the first book. He was an absolute badass with a sensitive and lovely side. He was kind and loving to his sister-in-law, who had been kidnapped and presumed dead. Garrett was a bit of a jerk in the second book. Okay, he was a complete jerk. I'd been looking forward to his book because I wanted to know who the real Garrett was.

Sarah's character was quite appealing to me. She's a regular decent girl whose world has been turned upside down, only to get unwittingly engaged in her brother's escapades, turning her world inside out. She's doing her best to deal with what's been thrown at her.

She's highly clever and intelligent, yet she's no longer making mistakes. She seems genuine to me. I couldn't say I could identify to her because I'd never been through what she had, but I could feel for her and wanted her to have a nice ending. And, thankfully, Garrett was there to assist her.

Garrett was fantastic with Sarah. He needed to be tough at times and sensitive at other times. He wasn't all "look at my enormous guns...and my weapons are very spectacular as well." That's not what Sarah need, and he was well aware of this. I'm telling you, Ma Kelly raised some really remarkable sons!

I liked how the plot was written out this time around better than in the second book. This time, not all of the queries were addressed right away. In reality, some of the solutions appeared on the second-to-last page of this book. It resulted in a much better flow and a more moving climax. And while we're on the subject of climaxes. *wink wink*

Even though the Author made us wait and wait for Garrett and Sarah to get together, it worked nicely with the storyline. You'll understand once you read it, but doing it any other way would have rendered Sarah's problems insignificant. But after they got it on...it was quite lovely.

Garrett and Sarah got along well.

Despite the fact that I Re-read this book, here is my review. The Crossfire series focuses on the romance between Eva and Gideon, with a touch of erotica sprinkled on top. The author knows when to provide enough description and then leave the rest to the reader's imagination. Her works have the right mix between dialogue and narration. Love it!

Gideon and Eva's characters seem to match from the start. Despite the fact that they shouldn't have gotten along together given their personal histories, there was something so strong between them that I couldn't picture them not staying together in the future.

Throughout the series, there is excellent character development, and I was able to see how characters struggled with personal and relationship problems and how they overcame them.

The Crossfire Series is one of my all-time favorites; I won't say how many times I've read the complete series ... eheheheh.

I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone, for sure!!!

Sam Kelly absolutely intrigued me withinside the book, so I turned into virtually excited to discover what made the level-headed oldest Kelly brother tick.

This book delivered everything I hoped for and more!!! The Crossfire series is one of my all-time favorite books. The tumultuous and passionate love story of Gideon and Eva captured my heart years ago, and this latest book captivated me from beginning to end. I loved every word and couldn't be happier with the ending. It's extraordinarily satisfying to read how these two damaged people, who love each other so much and so intensely, work as hard as they can to build a healthy relationship and grow stronger as a couple in a way that truly makes you believe their love will last forever and ever.

From the beginning of this series, I was captivated by this beautiful, erotic, and heartfelt love story. Gideon and Eva's relationship has always had a special intensity that really touched me deeply.

However, by the end of the book, I'd have such a fulfilled and satisfying feeling that I couldn't be happier with the ending of their story. Sylvia Day really did this series justice because the ending was great. I really loved it and can only recommend the Crossfire series to everyone as a top favorite!!!

I love this series. I love these characters. I love the writing style. I love the story. I love the intensity of Gideon and Eva's love for each other. I love their passion. I love the development of the characters. I've loved everything about the Crossfire series from the beginning and this was another fantastic addition!!!!

Gideon and Eva's relationship is one that I feel so strongly about. I love their dynamic - they're two damaged souls who both make their share of mistakes, but who love each other with every fiber of their being, more than anything else in the world, and that love gives them the strength and courage to face their fears and work together for a healthier and stronger relationship and future.

The added bonus of Gideon's POV in this book was so exciting. The story is told from two perspectives and I felt that both sides added so much depth to the story at this point in the series.

I honestly have so much respect for the way she's handled the entire plot of the series so far. Everything she's written has helped to strengthen the story and the characters. I love that the core of this series revolves around the idea and effort to build a stronger relationship rather than destroy it. The angst and heartbreaking intensity come from how much you care and feel for these characters. Gideon and Eva are certainly not perfect people, but I feel like their flaws make them seem all the more real, and their love and the way they support each other is just beautiful.

Their journey to building a healthy relationship has never been easy, but the strength of the foundation of their unwavering love for each other has given them a foundation to not only build on but to fall back on. No matter what, their love remains strong. And that's what I love. It's a beautiful, intense, heartbreaking journey full of mistakes and failures, but also full of accomplishments and progress. It's passionate, compelling, and truly one of the best books I've ever read. I absolutely love this couple, I've loved every part of their story so far, and I can't wait to see what happens next for them.

I've to say that I really enjoyed this book!

Entwined With You begins right where book #2 ended and throws us right back into history.

Passion, drama, and mystery continued as Gideon and Eva took a new step in their relationship.

Both were broken by their pasts and dealing with countless outside pressures, yet their relationship always came first. I always knew what their top priority was. I could just feel it. And I'm absolutely thrilled, LOVE IT!

There were many plot changes that kept me on the edge of my seat, and even more, questions would remain unanswered until the next book came out, if ever.

The characters committed errors, but that's to be expected. Throughout the novel, I 'understood' everything Gideon and Eva did, why they messed up, and I admired them for attempting to correct their errors.

There was a lot of smokin' hot sex (and I mean really... H O T) but it didn't dominate the effort they put into the relationship. I liked how they didn't use sex as an excuse to avoid dealing with their problems.

Although They'd always had strong chemistry and sexual desire, they were also actively working through their problems step by step, which allowed them to grew both as individuals and as a couple.

I loved how they had this very passionate, turbulent relationship, yet at the base of it all was their strong, undying love for each other, everything else was just a minor detail.

Entwined With You picked off immediately where Book 2 left off, immersing us in the plot. If it's been a while since you read the prior book, I'd recommend re-reading at least the last chapter of book #2 before starting this to get back into the story's specifics.

Gideon and Eva's journey continues in this book as they battle their inner demons and nightmares while working together to preserve and establish a successful relationship filled with great desire, love, and commitment.

Gideon and Eva's ability to communicate is one of my favorite aspects of them as a couple. They discuss EVERYTHING! They've both been broken by their pasts and are dealing with enormous levels of external stress, yet their relationship has always come first for them. I was always aware of their primary priority. I could sense it. And I just adored it.

Gideon Cross is the epitome of a troubled Dominant hero. He's absolutely commanding and controlling, but he's also fragile and damaged. To be honest, protective and possessive don't even begin to define him. He's also devoted, understanding, strong, and passionate, but his actions are always logical and rational. he always prioritized Eva, always thinking of her, and it was obvious in all of his acts.

Eva has always been a favorite of mine. She had to work hard to remain open while being deeply traumatized by her history and still saddened by things that had happened in their relationship. Fortunately, Gideon aided in balancing her out. He was always insistent about doing things together, and, at the end of the day, they both just wanted to make things work and were willing to go to any length to become closer.

I liked how they fought it out on everything. Gideon was forceful and domineering, but Eva was also strong and self-sufficient. They didn't clash, but rather complemented one another.

Their relationship was always balanced, and I never doubted the importance they placed on it. You could see they were willing to go to any length for one other and never give up. It was fantastic. It was quite heartwarming.

What else can I say...

so, the HEAT! the intensity!!

This has to be one of the most exciting books I've ever read! Not because it was the most graphic, but because their relationship increased every sexual interaction between them. It was quite hot!! And, I've also to say that they pushed things a step further in the bedroom.

To be fair, the build-up to the book's finale wasn't as strong as the previous one, but that was OK with me. Given the background of the story, it didn't feel natural to have something very intense at that moment, and I'm glad the author didn't throw some random drama in there simply to make it more sensational.

I will repeat it again... I personally loved it. I totally loved it.

My heart is delighted, so if you enjoyed the first two books, you must read this!!

I've to say that I enjoyed every minute of it! Reflected in You' depicted Eva and Gideon's relationship as it was still developing and changing.

They had admitted to each other that they lovethey d each other and that their love was everything at this time. However, jealously and possessively entered into their daily lives to the point where they were unsure how to proceed.

Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell are one of my all-time favorite fictional pairings. It ware as simply amazing to watch a couple who have been so messed up but who determined to do all in their power to make their relationship work with every fiber of their beings and every corner of their hearts. Who was willing to go to any length for each other. Never giving up. To try once again, a And again, and again, and again, until they got it right, Together.

Simply stunning!!!!

Their attraction, desire, and need for one another are palpable. It's almost as though it's slipping off the page. It gets to you every time.

It's quite hot. Consuming. Riveting. Intoxicating.

But passion alone isn't enough to make a relationship work. They must learn to trust each other in order for their love to blossom correctly and healthily.

That is, after all, at the center of this work. Trust.

Yes, I admit it was occasionally frustrating to go through Gideon and Eva's concerns, hang-ups, and fuck-ups. But, despite the fact that some of them were nonsensical and absurd,

I empathized with both of them and understood everything they were feeling. It was sometimes difficult, but it was always understandable.

They were not flawless individuals. They were each hiding something. They both had a lot to learn about trusting each other, finding safety in each other, healing each other, saving each other... and, in the process, saving themselves.

But, no matter how messed up they were, they worked through EVERYTHING!!

Gideon embodies the complex, anguished, flawed, and secretive hero. But he melts my heart (and something else too!!)!!! that man is perfect in my eyes. Everything about his character appealed to me. Everything.

And we also learn a lot more about him- his secrets, his nightmares, how he became so wealthy, and how he felt when they first met. We discover a lot about him in this book, despite the fact that it is recounted exclusively from Eva's point of view.

Eva is also one of my favorite heroines. She, like Gideon, has severe flaws and is affected by her history. She had genuine doubts, jealousies, and concerns, yet I sympathized with them all and admired her spirit, dedication, and actions.

They were just so functional as a couple!! It was inspirational, heartwarming, and wonderful to watch them work so hard on their relationship, where no matter what went wrong, nothing could drive them apart.

This novel put my heart through the wringer. It caused it to run, flutter, melt, burn, freeze, drop, pound, and come to a halt... It both broke and healed my heart. I enjoyed every minute of it!!!

But let me warn you: Gideon will put your trust, patience, and faith in him to the ultimate test in this book. He asks for Eva's trust, but as a reader, I felt so deeply for her that it was MY trust that I was putting out there.

Ms. Day deserves serious praise for immersing me in the heroine's mindset. When you feel complete for what a character is going through, that's a sign of truly outstanding writing.

The author's writing style is very engaging. I was never bored while reading.

This is one of those books where I feel like I've to quote every other line because they're all full of power, meaning, and intensity! And on top of that, the dialogue was hilarious! The main character Eva is brilliantly funny, and her sayings especially had me laughing my ass off!

Eva and Gideon voice their opinions, fears, hopes, dreams, frustrations, and anything that's on their minds! If they feel something, they say it. They talk about going to couples therapy to work through their problems together. They sit down together and have a heart-to-heart talk. They work on the quirks of their relationship. Sure, Gideon may be a bit of a crazy, power-hungry control freak and Eva may have severe jealousy and self-esteem issues, but they know they have these issues and they work on them as a real couple.

Although there was a lot of erotic dialogue and love scenes, there was still a wonderful tenderness between Eva and Gideon, which is what I liked most about them.

In case it wasn't obvious, this book was HOT. Hot as hell. Incredibly hot.

One of the most intensely hot books I've read in a long time. It was hot, sexy, emotional, intense, gritty, dark, and absolutely gorgeous! I think it's safe to say

This book is definitely on my list of Top Books !! it is a perfect mix of action, romance, suspense, and passion.

The characters in this story are personable and honest and relatable, even if they are all ex-military guys, That's one of the reasons why I love Maya's series.

The camaraderie between the characters is infectious, and it's no exception in this book.

The Kellys are loud and competitive but they are dedicated to each other, they watch each other's back and will do anything for their mama. Now, who wouldn't fall for a family like that? And it's a big one. Marlene and Frank Kelly have six sons! Ethan, Sam, Garrett, Donovan, Nathan, and Joe.

Action is this book starts from page one and barely subsides until 'the end'. But it's not overwhelming at all because the action vs. the tender moments is well balanced. You get your heart pumpin', guns blazin', people duckin' and muscles quakin' moments, but you also get your heart tuggin' moments. Most of those moments are courtesy of Rachel.

Maya Banks is known for her erotica titles. So, it's just understood that she knows how to write yummy, steamy scenes. What I enjoyed about the love scenes was that they were just that, love scenes. Don't get me wrong, they were hot.

The sex is tender while it's hot. It's sweet while it has you fanning yourself. It's just right. the series that is fun, exciting, and moving by an author I truly enjoy.

Yet another series to add to my long list of series I plan on following.
