After reading 30% of this book I put it down and could not find the energy to pick it back up again, it languished on my currently reading pile and tried to lure me back in but wasn't succeeding.

Until Sunday, when my bf, who is now tasked to pick my books for me to prevent my dithering, told me to pick it up again (he'll now probably suggest reading the rest of the books AND watching the show too!). Oh my Gods what a book!! It takes time to read, obviously, but it's worth it, it really is.

I picked my favourites at the start, Jon, Tyrion, Ned, Daenerys and hated people from the start too Cersei (evil whore), Joffrey (needs a good being murdered) plus others too numerous to mention.

I'm so glad that this was different from the film. Went into this with some apprehension as I'd watched the film and hated it, was pleasantly surprised with the differences and quite enjoyed it.

Would've liked it to be longer but I can't change that.

Really good book, I love me a good police procedural!!

A whodunnit set in the ever growing world of social media and super fans. A pop group, tumblr, twitter, snapchat and a host of other social media platforms combine to show how far forward we've moved yet how our security and, more importantly, the security of children is paramount.

Also how vicious some people can be, online bullying becoming more and more common and, unfortunately, sometimes untraceable.

I really bloody enjoyed this book!! Once I picked it up I could not put it down.

Mystery, murder, horrifying situations, love, little bit of redemption and intrigue.

Will definitely read more of Rick Mofinas work as this was one of the best books I've read in the last few years.

Started reading this last night and couldn't put it down! I actually really enjoyed the story and hoped for the ending it had but wanted a few others to join them.

The reason this doesn't have more stars is because of the afterword, after enjoying the story I then had to read the ‘basis' for the book, the actual Agenda 21 and it seemed like a political, not actual about politics but scaremongering, rant about how this could actual happen, although saying it's the worse case scenario probably doesn't worry you, still gives you pause and you could read into everything that's happening in the world today and read into it all that it's gonna happen. Not really what you want before you go to sleep!!

A short Stephen King book! Who'd'a thunk it!! Extremely quick and easy to read, love his descriptions of the rest stop building and the little chapters were rounded and informative as well as fun and, some, blood filled.

Would've been 5 stars if it would've been longer though, I'm not used to such a short book by Mr King.

Not really a fan of this book at all and I LOVE books about creepy houses!! Maybe it was because it was a YA novel, that might be the reason I don't like it, it just felt a little far-fetched and that was just the romance aspect, don't even get me started on the rest of it!!

Some of it was better, then ending mostly although that was quick and didn't really explain or answer the questions the book itself had raised.

So, yeah, not a fan.

Well that was an interesting read! Worked out the twists quite early on but that's because my brain never shuts up and throws suggestions at me left right and centre, some of which were ridiculous!

I found Abe a little wishy washy, not really involved in the story much but loved Davey's chapters, his point of view a welcome change to the viewpoints of the adults.

4.5 stars

Well I really enjoyed that!! The humour, sweariness, everything was exactly how I like it!

A mystery with a massive bloke, a tiny teenage girl and blood. Does everyone really have a Twitter account!?

I enjoyed the bonus story too and the return of Micro. Sure I know some guys like him.

The reason it isn't 5 stars is simply because it wasn't longer, I wanted more of Hobson and Choi and I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for the next book.

Oohh this was a sneaky tricksy book! Twisty and turny (is turny a word!? I don't know, I don't care at this point!)

Little bits of information floating around in the air with little comments and mysteries abound. Managed to work out nearly all of the twists but one or two surprised me a little. I liked that the romance wasn't too over the top, they had mysteries to solve and time it was a wasting!

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the religious aspect but it wasn't too overt and in your face. Sorry if that offends anyone it's just not my bag baby!

All they needed was a massive dog and a guy who always has the munchies and it'd be a proper mystery (machine).

Oh how I love Sam and Dean. It took me a while to finish this book because I've been distracted by other sneakier books but it doesn't mean I love it any less than them.

Set in series 3 I believe, it's all fun and games for the guys of snark and epic choice in music.

Sadly not the best book I've ever read but I'm hoping that future Supernatural reads will bring more excitement and monsters and everything expected of the guys.

Carry on my wayward son(s)

3 maybe 3.5 stars.

Better than I expected but not as good as I'd hoped it would be, enjoyed the format and the story but wish it would have been scarier considering the subject matter but it is a YA book so that probably explains it.

Such a good book!! Ghosts, deaths, dolls and humour, most of it set in Japan which is a place I've always wanted to visit.

Creepy and fun filled. Love it, love it, love it.

Lovely mix of vampires, violence, humour and a little bit of sex. And some secrets too. Who'd a thunk that vampires have secrets!? Or people!? I'm shocked, shocked I tells ya!!

2.5 stars.

It wasn't what I was expecting it to be, I wanted more information on how they all survived on the road and the demons and monsters etc they faced.

Loads of information about incantations, spells, stories and fables just not what I expected.

I'll read it again in a few months and see if my rating changes.

Henrik is a cock. That is all.

I didn't realise this was a ‘cozy' mystery when I started reading it, I thought it was a crime procedural because of the title. It wasn't a bad book though, a nice slow read, fun characters and all loose ends tied up quite nicely with a big red bow.

I may pick up more of these books in the future and see what other trouble Hannah Ives gets into. Fingers crossed for grisly ‘Saw' type murders.

A solid 3.5 stars.

Skim read some of this book but overall I enjoyed it.

Guessed most of the twists but was surprised by one or two so it kept me on my toes. Some of the characters seemed a little too self-absorbed for my liking but I didn't hate too many of them.

Finally finished!! Some of this book was painfully slow, skim reading rather than paying attention to it but it was so boring in parts, it eventually started to pick up to more creepy goings on but that was at the halfway point and I very nearly put it down and DNF'd it.

The treatment of the children is horrible and, sometimes, horrific, nice little twist or two and ended how I hoped it would, apart from one or two things.

My star rating is due to all the slow and boring parts where my eyes were beginning to glaze over but once the action and story picked up I flew through the rest.

At least there were no massive rats with their biting and clawing and blood thirsty insanity.

Well, except that one rat.

I have no idea who any of these people are, no idea at all.

I read Asylum a while ago now and cannot really remember too much about it other than it is set in an old Asylum (one of my favourite kind of stories!) and I remember the ending but who is Cal? Who are any of the people in it?

Maybe I should've re-read Asylum but ain't nobody got time for that!

I wish this would've been longer!!

Very quick read, fast moving and easy to get through.

Kinda scared of mermaids now though.

And female Angler fish too.

Nice and creepy read on the run up to Halloween.

I do love me a haunted house book and this gave me a chill or two. Ended quicker than I would normally like and I skimmed the last few chapters as it seemed to just be going over the same information again and again. As I said the ending was quicker than expected and not the ending I would've picked but I ain't the writer here!

If I could give this book more stars I would give it all the stars in the sky.

I absolutely loved this book. It has everything I needed, humour, science, space, suspense and potatoes. My god the potatoes!

I wanted to make this last as long as possible but couldn't stop thinking about it when I put it down so had to pick it up again and again. I was making copious notes on my kindle highlighting the lines I loved and had to stop because nearly every line was one I loved.

Hands down one of the best books I've ever read and I don't make that statement often at all.

I hope any more books written by Andy Weir are as good as this!!

I love it, love it, love it. Gah! Can't believe ive finished it!

Well that was..... Different. It follows the recent trend of letters, diary pages, transcripts etc to tell a story that have now begun to pop up, is that because of House of Leaves or are there more books out there that I don't know about!?

It was alright but seemed slightly disjointed and strange, I actually expected it to be much better than it was, maybe that's my fault for going into it with high hopes.

Things didn't feel as wrapped up as I'd expected either, maybe that's my fault too, again hoping that we'd get some answers to the many questions.

Hmmm.

I haven't read a James Patterson book in a long time and this was the perfect book to get me started reading him again!

Murder, mystery, mayhem and twist and turns galore. I worked out some twists but not others and, after a slow start, couldn't put it down so have powered through the rest of the book today. Think I'll be picking more of his books to read very soon.
