"Damn it. I felt sorry for Ben. Actually ached for my brother. He wasn't a bad guy, really."
You almost convinced me. Almost.

The writing style is good, just like the angst, but the characters are so frustrating, damn it!

The narrator is so annoying in the beginning. But he does redeem himself.

"A lifestyle choice is being a Republican or a Protestant, Mom. Being gay isn't a lifestyle and it isn't a choice. It's who I am."See that? I put together an articulate sentence. I promise you, I was an actual lawyer and I talked to people for a living. I know my behavior so far has made you wonder, but hopefully I'm redeeming myself. Well said.

James didn't know what he was being asked—he didn't. But he would say anything, do anything, be anything, to keep Rafael here, thinking he was special just for being James.

Short stories really grow on me.
So does Ava March's writing style. I love the setting in her novels - ~1822 England. And I love how anything can happen behind closed doors.

Ugh! These guys are so frustrating!
Still, despite not being my favorite, the book is a good read.

Very frustrating at the end. Didn't feel finished for me. Very hot - all of it. I honestly enjoyed the first half office sex and all but something's not right with this couple.
Not to mention that Justin pisses me off.

Oh, come on! She has to choose already. This series needs to stop dragging out and get a spectacular (or not so much, I don't care) ending ASAP.

There were funny moments, indeed. But... it's not enough. I need to feel the it is going somewhere, and I don't.

Страхотна книга! Току-що приключих и искам да започна да я чета отново. Този път ще я разбера много по-добре.

“I'm tired of holding on, so what else can I do but let go?”

I really, really liked this book.

It's an engaging book. Clearly an overwhelming one. I'm not sure I want to read the rest.

“You think your stupid pride is more important than love? Then you deserve to be miserable.”

This book was amazing! I haven't liked a book that much for a while.
The characters were strong, and so were the emotions. The slight touch of paranormal sealed the deal for me.

The cliffhanger is not that major and it's not worth missing out reading the book. I'm really looking forward to reading the next, hopefully sooner than later.

Don't count this as a review. It's just notes/quotes and abuse of the search option.

Bums begging on the street do not ring to the tune of a Mozart orchestra, and unfortunately for the team of tired undercover FBI agents tailing Antonio de la Vega, their target was aware of that particular bit of random information.Señor de la Vega had a nasty plane accident down in the Caribbean,” Burns informed him quietly. “Seems the mechanic working on his plane had some broken fingers no one knew about, didn't get all the nuts and bolts tight enough. Get in the damn car and let it take you home. I want you in DC by noon.” “You and your new assignments can go fuck yourselves, Dick,” Ty grumbled. “My fingers hurt. And the important one won't stand up by itself.” “So hold them all up and call it a flock,” Burns advised in mild amusement. Ty snorted. “Flock of birds. That's funny,” he muttered disconsolately to himself as he stared at the government vehicle stubbornly. “Ty,” Burns sighed, his voice taking on the tone of the mentor he had once been. “Don't toss everything you love out the window, hmm? You've tied up your loose ends, and you get to torture your new partner tomorrow. Noon. I'll see you then,” he said before ending the call

It was the mental aspects of Ty's abilities that Zane pondered almost gleefully as they moved.

It had it all - Deacon & Crick, Shane & Michail, Jeff & Collin. Martin is fabulous, and so are Kimmy, Benny and Joshua.

It gets better on the second read. Phury isn't so annoying and neither is Cormia.

“Your life needs an airbag. I swear, Anastagio, you should have come equipped when you were born.” Just then Dante leaned against him, brow between his shoulder blades for a moment, so tentatively Griff held his breath. His voice was almost sheepish. “Nah. Everyone knows I was born defective. They didn't install you until later.”

There are pieces of fanfiction Ward will have to work hard to top. This one is among them.
It was the first long (and good, or shall I say great) Qhuay fanfiction I read. I loved it. It was hot, emotional and complex, plus it was true to character (with the possible exception of Saxton).

I love this novel! Maybe because it was a guilty pleasure - I read it when I was supposed to be studying for an exam and to look at books from afar.
I liked the setting - the casino, and the characters - Shane, Rita...I'll get back to fill in the others.
I loved the paranormal element. So cool.
And, last but not least, the sex was hot!

I'm pretty sure I had something written as a review, but since I accidentally deleted LUl from my books, it's gone.
Payne is cool. Manny is okay.
V is an idiot with many, many problems. And Butch is getting it regularly.
Yeah, he was trying to ditch the ultrareserved shit, but he didn't want anyone to know how far he and Butch had gone. That was private.

The Qhuay angst is... angsty. They don't even talk to each other. And that redhead... Broke my heart time and again.

“You are a fool.” “No. I used to be one.” “I would beg to differ.” You see, I agree with Saxton on that one. Qhuinn is a fool. Man up already!

Reread: when I feel like self-torturing myself (preferably soon before Lover At Last).

A nice romance.
It was the first novel about the Malory family I read, so I took it quite as a stand-alone. I liked Danny, a lot. And I loved Jeremy.
After gaining perspective, I loved Jeremy even more, simply because he is James' son, and James is... James.

I want to reread at some point.

I loved Ash. I liked Tory. And I hate Artemis with passion.
But the world doesn't make much sense for me, and doesn't lure me in. Probably I should start from the beginning.

“You know, that's the funny thing about always. He'll always come back until one day he doesn't. Kind of like living forever—right up until the day you die.”
