This was so disturbing and confusing. I wanted to cry or throw up most of the time. And I regret nothing.

I don't want to be rude, but oh my god. I just wanted to slap Maddie across the face the entire time and tell her to shut up. Even James sometimes almost made me puke, and that is saying a lot. How do you mess up an overprotective, broody mmc that we all usually love? This is how. Shadow and Mist saved this book. Also, I find it extremely hilarious how this book is a giant (failed) attemp at a therapy session, and then one of the characters describes the other with “He is not a okay in the head.” Like, are you kidding me? Okay in the head?
Oh! And one more thing!
Maddie is a really bad person and an even worse friend. We didn't need the confirmation from her evil “therapist”, it was obvious from page one.

Are we supposed to believe that these people are BEST FRIENDS?

The only character I care about is Soren. The rest of them can be stomped on by ice giants, as far as I'm concerned

If you are looking for a cozy book without much going on, this is for you! So cute. I literally have nothing bad to say about it. 🌱

What did I just read? And why was it so good? I need more of Inesa and Melinoe, I loved them so much!

I dont care what anyone says, this is the best book in the series.

why does this even exist?
the only good part was literally the little boys painting with the dog.
a court of silver flames better be good!

does anyone even like Feyre?
or are we all here just for Rhys?

oh my god. what a waste of time.
it would have been two stars, but the last 10% of the book was actually interesting.

this was so bad - in the “what the fuck did I just read?” way, but I was not able to put it down.
still, I don't think I will read the next one.
yes, 5 stars. no, I don't wanna talk about it.

this was very cute and atmospheric. the only problem is that it is written like a 12yo wrote it, and without an editor.

this was not bad at all!
I just don't understand...when did they fall in love? and because of what? based on what? sexy times? I'm very confused.

well. what a disappointment.
what happened to that beautiful prose we got to see in War of Lost Hearts?
this was just...fine.
I read it because it's popular, and I will read the second one just because I already have it.
let's hope it will make up for this!

I have no words!

I know this is only a book, but come on! I needed at least one thing to be realistic. People do NOT act like that in small towns. You don't just go and sit next to the person you saw once in your life and, what? Order and deliver them a breakfast? And you fall in love with them after you spent two more seconds with them? Based on what?
Also, this didn't feel like grumpy x sunshine, more like an adult x a child. Alice, please, grow up.
Three stars for the small town setting / atmosphere which I really liked! And for Margaret, because it was interesting, whatever the hell that was.

I hate Rue so much I cant even finish this book.
You can sleep with random strangers but can't talk like a normal person? with the people you know? also, if you are feeling SO guilty that you betrayed your best friend, whyyyyy did you do it? I really cannot be on her side and I don't really care what happens to her.
pass!

I see this book is getting a lot of hate because the humor is cringy, the characters are a bit flat, blah blah. And you know what? It's true. But sometimes I just want to read a silly little book and giggle like a silly little girl. No dramatics, no stupid characters that are only making things worse pRoTeCtInG their love interest, etc.
I rarely like FMCs because they are always so moody and wounded and “badass” but then, they act like little bitches. But my girl Evie!!! Loved her. So much.

Unfortunately, I knew what was gonna happen after reading the first 1/3 of the book.
I'm not going to be wasting my time anymore.
Powerful / Adena & Mak are, in my opinion, the real heroes of this story. I'm tired of Pae's bitching and Kai's longing, yearning and also, bitching.

Finally!
A book where main characters talk about their issues and communicate every single problem! And then, we are left with the acutal PLOT, not their emotional baggage. A real gem!

oh boy!
these type of books are obviously not for me 🥹
i'm glad i gave it a try, though!

a waste of time.
dnf at 60% (soooooo much time wasted)
soooo boring, at some point I let the audiobook just go on🤣
I would tune in every now and then, realize that Raeve is STILL whining like a little bitch (sorry, badass emotionless assassin) that she is, and tune back out again. eventually I just gave up. sorry!

This was soooo fun and interesting, although I don't (know how to) play chess.
However, I HATED Mallory so much and that is why I will give it 4 stars and not 5. Sorry!

Okay, this was interesting enough to finish it. I will probably read the second part because I want to see more of Zade. Addie annoys me to the point I skipped some parts in order to GET to the POINT.
Yeah, yeah, we get it
You get turned on every five seconds, good for you!
The murder mystery turned out to be very... not important after all? Maybe there will be more to it in the second part.
