This was my first venture into audiobooks; that experience was fine, but I am not a complete convert yet. I imagine picking up another one in the future, but it won't be my main format going forward. The book itself I liked. It felt more like a book about friendships and how they can grow and change as we grow older and circumstances change, rather than a pure romance. There were times I was unsure which timeline we were in, mostly because I zoned out and didn't rewind to catch up. I find it a bit difficult to rate, I think mainly because of the format, but I don't have any major complaints.

I came into this book barely having read the back of it. I would probably not have picked it up by myself, but I loved it. Already, I can see myself reaching for this book again to re-read. It had some surprise OCD rep, spice that felt real and a writer that you can tell loves the craft. "I don't want to squeeze myself into the nooks and crannies of someone else's life."

At times I felt the book dragged, like it would not have hurt for it too have been shorter. Especially towards the end. Other than that it's cute, sweet and an easy read.

I don't think I really knew what this book was about the first time I picked it up. I loved unraveling the mystery with our girls.
