Inspiring story of a woman refusing to not be herself no matter what. The joy of being smarter than others and knowing yourself so clearly and precisely.

This book was truly wonderful. Loved the writing and the layered storytelling. It's short and fast while still offering lots of depth. Might be something I want to re-read!

This was incredibly well written and evocative of a totally different element of American culture (native) that I wasn't well familiar with. I enjoyed the style of how it tied together pieces of a families story and struggle and trauma over several generations.

It was pretty good in the end. But the main character was pretty annoying throughout. The last meditation on expectations of women in marriage and work and gender roles and the crushing unfairness of it all.

Really solid book on psychology fundamentals of habit, behavior, and product. Facilitator founder all the way!

I really loved it. Loved that it was a Raymond Chandler esque typ detective novel and made me think about alternate histories and why things happend the way they did.

It was really captivating and odd and funny.

I think this book made me realize that being spiritual is just trying to be a good person. And “God” is just an idea of being the best people we can be.
