So sorry I just cannot get behind this one
DNF :( unfortunately. I keep trying to like fantasy but it's not happening
DNF at 58%.
Not my thing and ultimately the atmosphere did not make up for the plot OR for the the characters.
I'm adding a DNF shelf to keep track of this now but not counting it toward my reading list.
That cheek caress at the end though. :')
2022: honestly, objectively, this is not a strong installment. Strong filler vibes. But I cannot be objective about this series never ever
DNFing at 46% dialogue and couple just wasn't for me
Another DNF —this time at page 261 after I finished the first book
I read this book when I was younger. I'm 18 now and it must be at least 3 years since I've read this book. I have to say I could NOT put this book down. The premise is very new for the age range who typically read these type of novels. It explores homosexuality and a prince–those two are not related haha. It was also witty and very funny. I strongly recommend this book! I always look back at it very fondly.
(I even recommended it to my 17 year old friend and she loved it :) )
DNF at page 89. Absolutely nothing is happening. I can't.
Unfortunately DNF at page 80. Not moving fast enough for me. I liked the first chapter but then it slowed wayyyyy down
DNF'd.
I picked up this book for a good read about the reaction to the U.S. elections. Especially now I thought it would've been incredibly timely.
This book is not what I thought it would be. I ended up DNFing it because unfortunately I do not like the mix of non-fiction and fiction. The short stories were very hard to get into and then just when I started to care it ended. Way too short unfortunately and a very hard book to read. Overall, I think it was a bit too all over the place and hard to follow and stay engaged.
I can finally emerge from my cave. The last two books I read more recently so hopefully I can take it easy (maybe?) but oh, this story. So. Precious.
2022: I'm just...obsessed.
Also I need an adult novel with Father Doms backstory. Thanks. Also I reread parts of it over and over. I'm just obsessed with this installment.
Dnf at pg 123
I loooove this author but this one really isn't working for me. There is a disconnect
