Libro non semplice per l'argomento trattato ma scritto splendidamente. Racconta la vita di Plautilla Briccia, artista del 1600 realmente esistita a Roma, e di Villa Benedetta, edificio eretto nella campagna romana, distrutto nel 1800 durante la guerra per l'unificazione d'Italia. La vita della protagonista s'intreccia con la storia di Roma e delle corti papale e francese dell'epoca.

Despite being extremely interesting, I found it quite difficult to read and follow due to the number of facts and names cited without too many introduction. I would recommend it if you already are passionate about US mafia and already know the people.

Difficult to read and confusing at times. It gets better as the pages run by.

The books tells the story of Rosie, a Scots woman running around the world to raise awareness for cancer prevention. It brings the reader with Rosie in her journey through struggles and joys. It is easy to read through.

Utterly entertaining and interesting for those who are curious to know how one of the main shoes seller was born.
