This wasn't as dark as I was expecting from the author's note but it was much too short. I really loved learning about the Lords and their history and Harlow definitely has her hands full with the guys.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first but we definitely learned a lot more about the world in this one.

4.5 Stars. I loved this book. Aheia and Arioch are both fascinating characters and I loved watching them come together. I also loved that we had a big cast of characters. The third person POV was a bit weird at first because I'm so used to first person but it wasn't a huge deal. This world is expansive and I cannot wait to find out what comes next.

This one was definitely darker and had more bullying than the first book which I was not a fan of. But I can better see the overall story after this one and I'm excited to continue reading in the world.

This wasn't a terrible book but it was way too short and as a result the story felt rushed and not well fleshed out. I really had high hopes for this but was let down. The audio was fantastic though. I also loved the cameo from other characters toward the end.

This book was your typical forced marriage, mafia type book. I did enjoy the banter between Dallas and Romeo but wish there was a bit more story development between them.

I really am enjoying this world with all of the different creatures. Even though I predicted a lot of the plot, I enjoyed reading the trio's story and seeing the previous group as well. The next book is FF and I'm really looking forward to it.

This book was incredibly dark but I loved it. The audiobook was incredibly well done and really brought the characters to life. I'm super curious to read Jescie's other books to see how they compare.

This was unnecessarily long. I also don't think the content warning at the beginning is sufficient for what happens to one of the main characters. It should have been more specific.

I picked this up after seeing Sara Cate rave about it, but this was not the book for me. I did not like the writing style and the story had so many plot holes and issues.

Not sure how I feel about this series. The world is fascinating but the characters really got on my nerves in this one and for this being the “last” of Sadie's story so much was left unanswered. The next book follows Aran's time at the academy and I'm super confused how Sadie and co will be involved when they are somewhere completely different.

I really loved Hades and Tink. But the ending was missing so much. The two main personal issues for both characters were completely ignored at the end and we have no idea how they dealt with them or their full outcome. This needed at least another chapter or so before the epilogue to wrap that up.

Way too much of a filler book and I feel like nothing happened. And then we got the signature cliffhanger that was honestly the only interesting thing to happen in the entire book.

I loved Mare and Cade's story but the constant switching between multiple pasts and the present didn't work for me.

I enjoyed this installment but am also super confused that quite a few huge things were just ignored and never explained. I definitely think we were missing a chapter or 3 at the end.

SpoilerI really liked this conclusion and it was the perfect amount of plot to spice ratio. But...

I really wish books would stop having characters say they cannot get pregnant only to turn around and get pregnant. There is nothing wrong with not having children and adoption is always an option. I really wish the romance community did a better job with HEAs not always requiring babies.

Not my favorite Melanie Harlow book but I am looking forward to more from this town.

Enjoyable, mindless taboo romance with some nice groveling at the end.

This was a really well done omegaverse why choose. The guys were great and so patient and supportive of Esme. I really loved watching her grow throughout the book. It dragged a bit in the middle but I still really enjoyed it.

SpoilerUnfortunately this wasn't the book for me. I have loved the other books in this series but this one felt way different. We barely got to see the other couples in this even though Ronan was supposedly good friends with them and an early investor based on the prologue. Plus Daisy worked there so we should have seen them more.

I also really didn't like Daisy and did not connect with her at all. We knew from the first page how the third act break up was going to go and I was hoping Sara would surprise us with something different and that didn't happen. I did love Ronan though. He was supportive of Daisy and always there for her and ready to teach her. I also loved the Eden scenes in this one. I'm excited for her book.

This would have been 3 stars until we got to the pregnancy at the end. They literally never talked about kids and then all of the sudden are ecstatic to have ones. It just didn't fit with the characters at all for me. I'm all for surprise pregnancies when it makes sense for the characters but here it didn't at all. Plus I wish more authors wrote couples that are happy without kids. There is this expectation in society that couples should always have kids and while that may be the majority it is not true for everyone.

This was a reread with the audio. The narrators did a really good job. I was reminded again of how much I appreciate Emily's attention to detail and accuracy of portraying professional hockey. Many authors are writing hockey romances lately and there are so many details that are wrong that would be so easy to research. I also love how normal Emily makes Rachel and the guy's poly relationship and how we see them grow and come into their relationship while also balancing their careers.

I was not a fan of the writing style of this and the pacing was off. I did like how the conflict played out and could appreciate the different spin on the omegaverse. But this author is not for me.

I enjoyed this but it was way too long and there were some massive lack of researching simple things. Some of it less than 5 minutes of research could have prevented inaccuracies like a doctor telling Emery that Tylenol is an NSAID. I loved the banter between Nash and Emery but it the plot dragged on too long even with the time jumps.

I love when authors step outside the norm and write less common shifters. The execution on this one was lacking for me though. While this book is definitely focused on romance rather than plot, there was no world building. It was just accepted that shifters exist in this world in hiding. The main female character would make jokes about shifters in books and Twilight but for me it didn't work that these bear shifters exist and no one knows. It would have been a bit more believable if there was a story or something to explain why they had to stay hidden, but as it is written we just have to accept that these 4 guys hide what they are. I also had an issue with how it was never explain that they were emailing this person in a small town and figured out she was their mate. From the moment we get their POV, they are calling her mate (within the first couple of chapters) but it is never explained who they knew when they had never even met her. Even if this is eventually explained in the next book it should have been in this one.

I did love the guys dynamic in this and how they all banded together to support Nat as she goes through her entire life being up heaved. They were there when she needed it and did not push her beyond what she was comfortable with.

Tropes include: mates, fake dating (kind of), cheating (ex-)husband, why choose, divorce, emotional abuse (not within the harem), mild cliffhanger.

This book had a lot of potential but fell flat for me. I ended up finishing the book via audio since reading was not keeping me engaged. The banter between Maggie and Silas was great and I loved all their interactions throughout the book. I also really enjoyed how strong and independent Maggie was. She built her dream and was not afraid to make the hard decisions. We got to see her after all her hard work paid off and she was living her dream and deciding to finally settle down. What bothered me with this book was how Silas was calling her his future wife right from the beginning. It didn't work for me and came off as super full of himself and arrogant. He knew nothing about her and I felt his belief clouded all their interactions to an extent because he was convinced their were endgame from the start.
