I did not like the main character “Gemma” in this book at all. Very forgetful when friends need something from her. Chose the wrong person as the murderer in the middle of the book. Never even checked about that person's alibi! David N.

Great book! However,didn't like the fact that there were over 90 chapters! They are working on a TV Miniseries! David N.

I've always had great luck with Reece's Recommendations but I've run out of Luck!

Constant auguring between Grandmother and her daughter! Very hard to figure out what the plot was.
Too many times Grandmother was so sure of the killer but later had to change her mind.
Author had bad habit of using a person's 1st name only in one part of the book and then would use the person's last name only in other parts of the book. Should have been more consistent!
Characters were just average with no stand outs!

Book won many awards in 2024 and was the main reason I wanted to read it but so far this is July and this has been the worse book Ive read this year!

Read book and watched movie right after! Book was great, movie was so so!

Read the book, then watched the movie, both were good!
