See allThe first few chapters are a bit slow, but by the end I was completely enthralled. It's hard to describe adequately a book that encompasses the challenges in building a world's fair in the span of 2 years in a sandy swamp, the deeds of and the hunt for a prolific serial killer, delusional madness and assassination, as well as seemingly unrelated things like the Ferris wheel, the sinking of the titanic, and incandescent lights.
