This was just... amazing, awesome, brilliant ... (add any superlative of your choice). Clever story, catchy plot, quite likeable characters and maybe even frightening vision of the future. Beware what can happen if we stay too long in the virtual reality and computer games. The best book I've read this year for sure! Recommended! <3
What to say? My expectations were quite high, but it worth it. The book was awesome. I was afraid, because before, Throne of Glass was compared to Hunger Games (which I haven't read yet). I saw Hunger Games as film and I have to say, that this is really something different... and I loved it! The characters were likeable, especially love triangle Celeana, Dorian and Chaol. But I can't wait for the second book, because I think that there is much more in Nehemia or The King and I think they will make some storm in Erilea soon... :)
Even I gave 5, it is more like 4,5 or 90 %. The story continues in an unexpected way and twists a lot throughout the book. I would deffinitely not expect something like this when I finished third book. And I just can't imagine what comes in the finale. But what I know for sure is that it will be amazing and that we all need it NOW!
Well after second book that seemed less like Harry Potter, third book took place mostly in the Magisterium again and it just reminded HP. BUT it wasn't negative. I really liked how Holly and Cassandra tell the story and it's really unpredictable until the very end. When you think “Wow, this was a huge plot-twist!” you don't have the time to recover and there comes another one. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, because it seems, like there are few chapters missing. I just hope it will continue immediately, but we have to wait again... The only advice I would give to Holly and Cassandra is to release it as 1 book... In my opinion, the books work very well, but it could be better all-in-one. :)
