This was an excellent book. You can tell it was very thoroughly researched. But it was not dry at all. The story kept building and made me want to keep reading it or actually listening to it because I did it as an audible book. The narrator was excellent and did the voices very well so that I knew right away who was speaking.

This was a good conclusion to the series. Although I'm always going to want more. LOL

I enjoyed this read. It moves pretty fast. I like the mix of Celtic and Native American lore.

Really enjoyed this book. I am not crazy about werewolves stories but this one was really enjoyable. It was a fast read and kept pretty light most of the time. I'm definitely going to be reading the rest of the series.

At first I didn't like the story. It was boring for the first few chapters. Lots of exposition. But by the middle of the first tale told I was hooked. There are a group of people brought together for a Shrike pilgrimage and to pass the time they tell a tale of why they are going to Hyperion. I think my favorite tale was the Scholar's and my least favorite was probably the Consul's which is the last one. It does end on a small cliffhanger though so now I just have to get the next one.

This was a very enjoyable read. The world building was very intriguing and fleshed out well.

This book was more of an adult version of Narnia. I enjoyed it though. The characters are not always what you expect.

I thorough enjoyed this book as an audiobook. I started reading it as a paperbook but found that I enjoyed it being read to me more. The narration was excellent. I could really see the possibility of the stories possibly being partly real. The behind the scenes in a soap opera was really interesting and fun. The main character Kate was quite funny and made me feel like I would be friends with her.

I really enjoyed this one. It has been a while since I read a Sookie Stackhouse book and this one did not disappoint. It was fun of action and interesting twists.

I found this book very confusing. I know people who love it but I'm just not one of them. I almost gave up on it but I hate to do that. It seems to be about a group of people who don't understand language as we know it but it almost has to have two voices to speak it one for language one for feeling.

This was a fun read, silly at many times but I still enjoyed it. I hope there is more to this series. I found myself laughing out loud many times.

It was a slow start and found myself sort of starting to skim through it. Once Lisbeth came on the scene it became interesting and only got better from there. I particularly enjoyed the relationship between Lisbeth and Mikael. It was a relationship that Lisbeth needed and I think it helped heal her to a point. I was so sad at the way it ended though. I was hoping she could have a nice relationship.

I re-read this as an audiobook. It was so well done. James Marsters does the narration. He really brings Harry Dresden to life.

okay I have to read the next book right away to find out what happened.

This was okay. But the main part of the story was good. It is written in the first person which is a bit weird at first but you get used to it.

Short, sweet and a bit manic.

This book was good but it was hard to keep reading. I kept putting it down and then picking it up later. Because of the style of the book you don't lose anything by doing that. So I read passages while in between other books.

It was good but not a good as I thought it would be. It did grow on me though so I would actually give it 3 1/2 stars. I will read the next in the series though. There was a lot of world building that might be interesting to see where it goes.

Oh boy this one was chock full of surprises right up to the end. Mac is in trouble again. I cannot wait to read the next one to find out what happens. The end does not wrap up the story and leaves you on a cliffhanger so have the next book ready.

Really enjoyed this. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series I just want to kill Jeb for what he did to Max. Making her trust him all the while using her. He should be drawn and quartered for allowing the experients to happen to his children.

Suze is a mediator, needing to help the dead move on to the light or wherever they should be going. Trying to do this without alerting her family, friends and teachers is very hard. This is the third in the series which reminds me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer of which I am a huge fan of.

a good beginning to the series.

this was an interesting story. A bit different view of the afterlife.

It was good up until the end then it kinda of stopped. Maybe I was not paying attention enough but I'm not sure what happened at the end. I was really enjoying it until then. I think I'll reread the last few chapters and see what I missed. I'll update this after that.

Okay I've re-read the end and it makes more sense now. But it does wrap up rather quickly.

I was a bit put off in the beginning of the story. Griffin seemed like such a jerk. But it did get better. These books are a bit more erotica than story so I tend to skim it a bit to get to the story. It did get interesting in the last few chapters. I like that he didn't change her right off when she asked. He let her have a life and waited until she was really ready.
