This book was a bit different. It is your classical Jane Austen read but changed a bit. The changes are sometimes funny, sometimes cute. I really did enjoy it. It is a strange read and helps to know something of the original but the basics are the same as the original book.

good start to the series. Should have been a free read to entice you to read the rest of the series.

I loved this short book. Sylvia is so down to earth in her advice it is hard to not like her. The meditation at the end is really great too. This book was an audio so I will be re-listening to the mediation again.

This was a nice quick read only about 5 pages long. But it was a good story.

I listened to this as an audiobook. It was read nicely by the narrator. The story started out good but sort of fizzled in the middle but it did get better by the end. Enough that I will check out the next book in the series.

This was an excellent book. I'm so glad I was finally convinced to start reading it. I love the world that is created. It is original and a bit different lore to the vampire story.

The book was interesting but had way too much emphasis on sex scenes for my taste. I was almost a third way through before the story got past the four sex scenes while well written it was annoying after a while. But the story did pick up and became interesting. I will read the next book to see if I really like this author or not.

This book was very different from others that I have read. There were some humorous moments and some sad moments. And a really different type of sex scene.

I really enjoyed this book. It is more mystery than paranormal but really enjoyable. It was a very quick read for me. Made my plane trip go by so quickly. The only thing I found a bit annoying was the main male character's speech pattern and the habit of the female lead to correct it all the time. It was cute at first but was happening way too much.

This was a wonderful book. So much imagination. I'm going to go get the next book in the series.

This book is very different from what I've read before. I enjoyed the different view of vampires, ghost and supernatural environments. It was a bit slow in parts but it was necessary for the story. Overall a very enjoyable read.

This book was a fun read. It was quirky and very different. The characters are very well flushed out. I'm hoping that a sequel gets written although it did get resolved in the end.

This was a great addition to the Dresden series. I love the fact that Susan was back and the scene with Harry was hot. I never thought Harry would get out of the situations he was in but of course he did LOL with help from unexpected sources too.

There is a lot of development in this installment of Cat and Bones relationship. We find out that apparently she was married at 16 to another vampire Gregor whom they call Dream Snatcher. He wants her back and will stop at nothing to have her. At the same time the ghouls and vampires are upset because of rumors that Gregor is circulating. Bones and Cat have to work their differences out to come back together. Really good book. A lot of backstory added fleshing the relationships out even more.

Another page turner!

Listened to this on audiobook. Great narrator. This book was as good as I remembered it.

This book started out really good but slowed toward the middle. If you just plod on it becomes important later. It is worth the wait.

This has to be my favorite Anne Rice book. Too bad it never got a sequel.

this is the second time reading this book and I still love it if not more than earlier reading. I did the audio book and it was done so great you forgot that it was just one person doing all the characters.
