Great book, learned a lot. Each story from the youth gave a clear picture on what they were going through at the time.

First time I read it I liked it. Interesting read and liked that the main character was learning to heal from the past.
This second time I read it, I still liked it but a little less. What stuck out the most I felt like the “big bad guy” in the second half of the novel foreshadowed. Though I had forgotten most of the plot from when I first read it I was really hoping the bad guy was someone else.

Took a while to finish. World building was great but a bit sluggish at times as I read through it.

Very informative. Breaks down things so they are easy to understand and be able to focus on them. Can’t wait to try the recipes.

Intriguing in some areas. The back and forth was funny but got annoying towards the end. Or it’s just me trying to finish the book.
