The absolute definition of un-put-downable. Filled with twists and turns, one so massive I had to go back and check I hadn't missed a key detail earlier on! Haunting and tense - each chapter filled me with dread and I had to read on. Which is why I am writing this review at 2am!

The first book in a long time I have ever finished and immediately gone back to re-read the first chapter.

A wonderfully written story of love. Chapter 1 hits with a sledgehammer once you've finished the book.

A well deserved 5 stars.

Exactly my kind of book. Poignant and hilarious and one I couldn't put down.

My favourite line, whilst Johanna is deciding what to keep and what to get rid of when she reinvents herself for the 2nd time -

Self harm - the world will come at you with knives anyway. You do not need to beat them to it.

Started on an off chance as something to read on the train, selected at random from my bulging bookcase.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this wasn't it. A story written entirely though letters to a stranger, stretching the story as Zoe began to find her voice to tell the truth. Beautifully written and utterly believable, each letter I read I internally begged for more information. A fantastic YA novel, one I will recommend to the teenagers in my family.

I look forward to reading the other 2 Annabelle Pitcher's in my possession.

Immensely readable. Just what I needed to pull myself out of a reading rut!
