I received this book from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.
I enjoyed this book, which was not something I was expecting. The main character is neurodivergent which is so interesting. To see the world trough Roan's eyes was a fun experience.
The world is really rich and colorful trough her eyes, and I really liked that. She's impulsive and I shake her hand on that. She's really there for her family and friends and that was one of her best traits. I really enjoyed Galin and Roan. The plot twist were all over the place and that made the book much more enjoyable.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I had so much fun while reading it. Really recommend the book!

I really enjoyed this book. The romance was fast paced and it was really fun to read about Amber and Ian. The pacing was a little to fast for me. They want from hating each other to loving each other really fast. I did like the tv show aspect of the book, it was something different I really enjoyed.
The writing was fun and easy to read. I finished the book in a little over a day, but I missed the extra spark that would have made it a 5* book for me. Maybe that was because the romance was just too quick, with little to no extra content.
How can somebody get betrayed so many times and still keep it going. Is she dumb?
Even though i saw the whole crown thing coming from the first time it was mentioned, and I knew both bash and Finn would betray her, the book was fine. I liked it, liked abriella even though this girl is dumber then a brainless corpse. Hope she gets her revenge in the next book and doesn't just fall back in bashes arms. Or Finn's. Even though I like Finn more.
I never thought I would fall for the TikTok hype, but here I am, 2:45 at night with tears on my face. I finished the book within 6 hours. Took a short break to eat, to watch some tv, but that was it. I've never cried as much while reading a book. Ever. I just have to give it 5 stars, because this book made me feel things.
2022 review
Yeah okay I still really loved this book. Don't get the hate, because I really liked it. Still haven't read the last TOG book, so that is up next. I can already tell that both Nesryn and Yrene are going to be maaaaajor in the next book. Really looking forward to it!
2019 review
uhm hello new favourite Throne of Glass book, how are ya?
I LOVED this book. Yrene is fantastic and I also really loved the fact that Nesryn got her own chapters. Didn't know that I needed it until I got it.
I've always loved Chaol even trough his ‘being an ass' period because he was a big ass. But still, I loved Chaol. Also, all the ships in this book are endgame pretty please okat thanks
Recieven this E-Arc from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.
Honestly, I liked this book. It was slow at the beginning and I had trouble getting into the story. I stopped reading halfway for about two weeks, but I'm glad I picked the book up again.
I have the special edition from Fairyloot and it's absolutely gorgeous.
I generally don't like multiple p.o.v books but this one was doable.
The ending was pretty good, will pick up the second book when it comes out.
I don't know how to feel about this book. The first two parts where kinda slow and I wasn't loving it. Just kept reading for the ending because I spoiled myself on the crossover andi know my baby bats where coming.
I didn't feel a lot of chemistry between Bryce and hunt. Yeah they're mates but it didn't feel the same as in her other books. It only picked up about 70% into the book.
Can we talk about precious Ruhn and Lidia who are definitely mates???? I'm here for it
Tharion did a baaaaad thiiiing
BUT THE ENDING??? That was really the thing that made this book go from 3 stars to 4 stars
I received this book from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.
This book reminded me a bit of Sorcery of Thorns. The idea of a girl that paints but is also able to capture peoples real selves. I really liked that Myra can alter the bodies of the people she paints. It was really fun and interesting to read about an ability like that. Especially when she decides to bring somebody back to life. I did miss some info, like the town they live in, the government outside of the one governor, that felt very limited.
I liked the romance. Myra was pretty bland in my opinion. She was just always busy with her sister and I didn't really like that.
Overall the book was enjoyable and I liked reading it.

I kinda liked the book, but it also felt too much like it was written by a Wattpad author. Yes, I am aware that this book is by Wattpad, but it really felt like some sort of fanfic is some way. The story was fun, the idea of some sort of house full of vampires and it gave me some sort of Love Island kinda idea. You know, a house full of celebs and everybody wants to watch/ join. Renie wasn't my favorite but she had her bits and pieces that I enjoyed. I did understand why she joined the house.
Over all the book was okay. It was just a bit too much Wattpad still for me. I don't really like those stories anymore.
ORIGINAL FIRST TIME READING REVIEW:
Actual rating: 3,5
I liked it. It isn't a favorite nor a book I'll reread again. Maybe when the second book comes out but not on ‘free will'. The books was so confusing. So many names and they all looked alike and sounded the same. I was confused 90% of the time. I'm still happy that I've finished it. The book was good. I loved the storyline and the characters were okay. Still would have punched like 80% of the characters :)
RE-READ REVIEW
Honestly, I don't know why I disliked this book so badly. I liked Jude, she has balls. Cardan is not my favorite but I can see the whole Rhys thing coming. Taryn is imo a little rat, and I really dislike her. Going in, there where a few things I remembered from my first read, but my god, I'd forgotten so much! I can see why this book is so hyped, and I originally said I would never re-read it. Glad I did though. It was good. Up to book two.
2022: liked the book waaaaay more the second time reading it. Excited to finally read the last book
2021:
I don't know what to think of this book. I liked it, but more then once I just put I down and didn't think about the book for a few days. Finished more because i just had a little over 150 pages left.
Wasn't really into the love story, normally I would've loved it, but it just didn't get to me.
This was quite literally your average Dystopian. Somebody joins a rebellion, one person you ‘don't expect' joins the cause, something goes wrong, one person gets under some sort of control, the other tells the person they love them, they snap out of their control and all is well.
Yeah, your average dystopian.
