Damn. Well written but more and more over the top, these plots.

DNF. Really well written, but at 20% of the book I find the pattern has already been laid out clearly and it will only get from bad to worse.

3,5 stars. Each time, the plot is rather over the top. I keep hoping for some more depth in the relations.

The story is a little over the top. More thrilling than the first one. Nice cast of good guys though. Still undecided if I like this series a lot or a little.

Well written.

Great feelgood book. Only the ending is unnecessarily drawn out. Well written, different viewpoints. Great storytelling. Hard to put down.

Feelgood. Neat.

Least convincing one of the series. Incredible plot twist. And such explioive effects... geez. Love Field's characters etc but it's all a bit too evil and too nasty. Which is weird anyway as it is juxtaposed to a lot of wishing to be a good person and the angelic happiness of families. The contrast is huge, which makes it... too made up. Artificially enhanced emotions. Pity, pity.

I think this is the first ever businessbook I found sympathetic.

4,5 stars. Not a masterpiece, but good. Light and fun. Fun perspective - through the autistic maids eyes. Neat plot.

Probably useful for large corporations and marketeers. Not for solopreneurs. It did not make my heart beat any faster, either.

In a way this book is too sweet for words, yet in another way I quite liked it. It's a B book that makes you happy nonetheless. The writing is a little awkward and sugary, but well meaning. Also: I listened to it, I have no idea if I coud have stomached the written version.

3,5 stars.

This is a good book. Well written. Well plotted. Intelligent. Da Silva just does not make me care about any of the people in it.

Leuke vent.

Started out great, but lost steam. Too small a cast of characters, story a little drawn out, ending is a bit of a weird surprise.

A great thriller. Discusses if evil can be used to do good, the role of conscience, and is intelligently written and constructed. A breath of fresh air!

DNF. Wyatt series is not for me.

DNF after 80%. Other than The Moonstone, The Woman in White and No Name, I find this book rather tedious. And rather contrived. Could not be bothered to find out how it ends.

DNF. Too slow, too little action.

Hm... ecofeminisme..

3 stars? 4?

This book is amazingly compelling, even though it is extremely anti feminist and even though disbelief is hard to suspend at times.

At a lot of times.

Yet the dialogue is witty. And the friends and family and village in the book are like those in a Coca Cola Christmas commercial. Amazingly sweet and supportive.

Yes it's full of cliche's.
Yes it's twice as long as needs be.
Yes the sex scenes are over the top and very traditional in a way.

And yet, I had a good time. Especially during the first half of the book.

It has an addictive cadence and a nice lightheartedness.

DNF. Too much talking, toolittle action.
