A lovely book about the importance of inclusion and dangers of stereotyping.

A twisty, creepy, disturbing horror that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Mister Lullaby is unique fusion of psychological suspense and supernatural horror, offering a thought-provoking exploration of the human psyche in its most vulnerable state. This takes you on a haunting journey into the depths of the unknown and will definitely creep you out for long after putting the book down. Multiple POVs keep you guessing and trying to connect the various stories.
While I'm more of a thriller girl over horror, I enjoyed this.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ALC!

I feel for Bird.

Better than I was expecting, but still not a knock out of the park. A short little thriller for the Christmas season.
Thank you to netgalley for this arc.

When I began reading I was apprehensive about another detective/police murder mystery thriller, but aspects of When I'm Dead gives it an edge on other novels in this genre.
While technically the third in a series, you could read this as a standalone and not be confused.
This is the PERFECT Hallows Eve read! I devoured it in 24 hours on Halloween, and the vibes were chef's kiss.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press, Minotaur Books for granting me access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley for this ARC!
If you love messy, spoiled rich people drama, this is the thriller for you! Trust me, you won't like a single character in this book, which is part of what makes it so appealing. The House Guest is told from multiple POVs and has so many twists and turns, up until the very last page.
Personally, I enjoyed it but wouldn't call it an instant favorite. A solid 3 stars from me.

Thank you to Netgalley for my very first ALC/ARC!
This book was marketed as mystery/thriller on Netgalley, but I would definitely call it horror. I'm not a huge horror reader, especially not body horror, so it threw me for a loop. I still enjoyed it for the most part, though! This book twists and turns until the very end and leaves you guessing. The conclusion had me on the floor.

My only gripe was how the audiobook was split into very small sections, but that might have been a Netgalley thing? I'm hoping so.

I am so mad at you guys for gatekeeping this book! Why is nobody talking about this? Why is there no hype? This book is so fucking good. I'm not even going to give a proper review because I want you to go into it. Totally blind and love it as much as I did. READ IT.

Edit: I posted this in two Thriller Reader Facebook groups and the posts kind of blew up. So if you're here because you saw me recommend that, HI!

October Swiftie Book Club.
This was sweet, cozy, and adorable.

If you're looking for a fast-paced book with a lot of unpredictable twists, this is NOT your book. However, the premise is unique and the story was well executed.

John Marrs does it again! This book was dark, disturbing, twisty, and thrilling.

This is a good spooky book for people who do not like scary books, but still works for people who enjoy thrillers as there are plenty of twists and turns. 3.5

The story and concept is a 4, but aspects of the writing left a lot to be desired, so I knocked it down to a 3. It could've used some editing, but I still think you should read this book! I felt very seen in the character of Rose, and that's a rarity.

I would have loved it more had the ending not been so fast, neat, and tidy. I guess I'm not a happy endings girl, but I also hated all of the characters so perhaps I wanted it to turn out worse. Still a good read! 3.5.

I wanted to love this, I really did :(

September Swiftie Book Club pick

Ugh. Many thoughts. I enjoyed this book, but I guessed everything that was going to happen, down to the (pun completely intended) last words of the book. There were so many over the top cliches, and the twists were so predictable that I hesitate to even call them twists.
I truly did enjoy the ride, but I'm disappointed Taylor Adams didn't throw in something unique.

I obviously had to read this one. It was cute, but not an instant favorite.

I enjoyed this, but didn't love it. I found a lot of the “twists” to be predictable and easy to guess.

Reading a story in this series with beloved characters is like coming home, although I'm quite glad I do not live in Hell.
My only complaint is that it was too short.

The twists in this book will have you wondering what the heck you just read (in a good way).

I LOVED THIS! What a unique concept. The end got a bit messy and she didn't wrap up the Harrisons' storyline very well, but I still loved it.

Wow. This book was awful. It felt like a first draft someone in high school turned in after they wrote it in one night before the deadline.
I hadn't heard of Alexa Donne until I read this book, but after finishing The Ivies I searched her and was absolutely horrified to learn she gives writing advice on Youtube. After watching many of her videos, I feel as though my brain has melted into a puddle of goo. Please, if you are looking for writing advice, do not take any of hers. If anything, use her videos as a guideline of what not to do.
I'm sorry for being uncharacteristically harsh, I am just so stunned by this author and her work.

You will hate every character in this book, which is part of what makes it so compelling.
