I will rate this book in two parts:
•Part one: it was sooooooo sloooooooooow, I had high expectations on this book because everyone was talking about it and giving it 5 ★ that I thought I would enjoy this book but as always I was not, it took me so long to finish this book, it was very boring and NOTHING was happening, I didn't care about any character not even Jude, so the first part has 1 ★.
•Part two: this was the “best” part, I started to like Jude more and started to be interested in what was happening BUT I have to said that that was the last 40% of the book, I like how Jude is completely another different person and that saved this book, so the second part has 3 ★.
So I was really hoping that I was going to love this book but instead it was really boring and I didn't understand the hype around it but I really like the last 40% of it and I will be continuing with the series even if the “plot twist” wasn't really shocking for me because I saw it coming.
I enjoyed the book, it was a little bit introductory but I know that it's the first book in a series so that is its function.
I enjoyed reading how Celaena thinks and how she seems to be cruel and ruthless but deep inside she is worried, scared and sweet, maybe it's a strange that personality in a murderer but I like it.
The plot is slow but at the end is fast and more interesting, it gets better at the end of the book XD
I want to know more about Celaena, Dorian and Chaol (specially Chaol -) and the king (because I hate him) and Perrington (bacuse I hate him) so I'll be readig soon the next books in the series
