There were a lot of things that could have gone wrong with this, it flirted with icky a lot but overall, the author really pulled off a difficult story and made it work.

This was really subpar. I don't get why everyone fawns over BDSM in Sierra Cartwright. I find Cherise Sinclair and Joey W. Hill much superior. The characters are often flat and the writing doesn't bring a lot to the place. It's honestly a hard pass on Sierra Cartwright for me.

This was cute in a way only Olivia Hayle can make it work. A boss/secretary falling in love in like forty pages. If you're a fan of OH New York billionaires, this is good enough to tide you over between books.

I did not expect liking this so much and I'm only rating it under 4 for the slightly unhinged and cray-cray last act. Apart from that, it was really really hot. And also fairly written.

It's cute in a way only Olivia Hayle can do but it's also not her best work (even short). I expected a little more? More steam, more UST before resolving the UST.

I am honestly disappointed by how many people have recommanded Sierra Cartwright to me and how much it's not sticking.

Oh well, when you have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all....

See book review.

Really enjoyed reading about Gideon and Samantha, really enjoyed reading their struggles to get to where they got. I don't often read about male submissives because it isn't really my preference but this was beautiful as it usually is with Roni Lauren.

Not gonna lie but Pike's ‘Mama' did serious things to me. I know that's not a basis to rate something four stars but when I tell you that this is all that's stuck in my mind right now, then it means that everything else is good and I have no qualms with any part of this story.

This was just a bundle of perfection wrapped up in a short story. I loved Hunter and Devon. Their story was so touching. Roni Loren, as always, has a writing that's impeccable.

Loved reading about Tessa and Kade story. I was as invested by their past as I was by their future. It just gave some sort of “fate” twist to their relationship and I was just happy to finally have them happy. It warmed my cold heart.

This didn't vibe with me the way the Beautifully Cruel series did. I'll still give the rest a chance, but it was too slow and the characters were too different for me to have it work. I couldn't get what they saw in each other. The banter was better in her other series.

This was my last Heatverse from this author. There are interesting ideas in her stories but her characters lack depth and their interactions feel very stilted. The monologues are weak. All in all, I'm just disappointed to invest any more time in these.

Honestly? I just can't wait to get my hands on the other Hardy books. I'll probably pause because these are just too good and I really want to spread out the love. Shain Rose, you're going straight on my favorite list.

The grumpy/sunshine trope's never been better portrayed than in here. Shain Rose delivers great UST, great banter, great characters.
