Honestly, this sounded much better than it actually was. It was a bit childish. Those characters that are supposed to be mature just read like whiny seventeen years old ruled by hormones.

I honestly did not expect much. I was so pleasantly surprised by this, I cannot wait to get my hands into the rest of this series.
It was short, wasted no time, built up depth, connection which makes you incapable of not rooting for the characters.

Harley Knight is a great discovery to me so far. I've really enjoyed her first opus despite the obvious flaws in her storytelling. She does write compelling stories and characters.

This was a cute addition to this series. It's rare that an author manages to bring both spice and depth to a 100 pages novella but Laura Kaye always manages it!

There aren't enough words for how much I loved Kylo and Evie's story. I cannot wait to dive into the 2nd book and M. Sunseri's other duet. I absolutely adore the blend of philosophical yet practical sense in her story, loved how both characters just work separately and together.

Definitely one of my best and favourite surprise of 2025.

I know there are a lot of things I should find problematic with S.J. Tilly's stories but she brings the heat like no other and I like her slightly taboo red-ish flags so much that I can't even care.

This was the absolute most adorable thing I've read in a while. Bodhi was almost too good to be true to be honest. almost

You know what? Whatever, if you're in the mood for the most golden retriever MMC, just go for this. It's nice to feel treasured in the greenest flag way possible.

I think I expected something different. Not that I was disappointed but I guess I kinda expected it something more uncivilized? I also went into this thinking it was a standalone so I was bit surprised when I was getting to the end and realising that this wasn't done. I feel like it could have been a one shot story and am not sure there will be enough to sustain me over another book.

That said, this was well written. The FMC was great, her trauma was sharp but wasn't taking over everything as well. The MMC are all very different and I really do love when relationships form at different paces. I find it so much more interesting than when they all fall at once and everyone starts sleeping together at the same time.

I'm running out of words for how much I love S.J. Tilly's books so W/E, just read it. And everything else. Please.

I really enjoyed reading about a budding M/M relationship along the FMC's relationship with the men. And this was cute but the very insta everything and timeline of the entire book was just really jarring.

Not sure why I didn't like this more. I was really hyped about this because Sara Cate + FFM. I don't know if it was the narration choice considering the subject matter but it lacked some grit, it lacked some heat.

This wasn't quite what I hoped for. The writing flows really nicely even if there are too many repetitions but the characters, especially the MMCs, lacked personalities. It had the same flaw I felt in her other book Pixel Perfect Pact : it had really interesting elements but everything was treated almost too superficially. I wanted to dig more into the past of the characters and some of the hurtful things that were happening to them but it was all almost too.... polished?

Pretty much the same as book 1 and 2. At least, it's all very consistent. One thing I haven't mentioned though is how much I love the omega rating system and how all those Omegas are very career oriented. This doesn't happen enough in (any) book romances.

Definitely my fav from this series, though this has the same flaws and strength as the first opus (too much thinking and consent talking, which is both great and slows down the story). I love the rule setting highlighting the relationships but it's almost too much and it does feel more like a judicial proceeding than an actual love story.

I'm extremely conflicted about this series. On one hand, I read all the books so you know, that's always a great sign. So on the pros, it has an intelligence to it that I feel almost does not match the omegaverse. I'm absolutely sure I'm explaining this wrong because I don't mean to say that most omegaverses aren't intelligent or the characters stupid but it's like this philosophical version of how to create an omegaverse? It's in depth, it's analytical and methodical. The characters are educated, extremely consent oriented. It's both a great change because I often regret that no omegaverse tries to get into natural instincts vs emotional response. I love it when an omegaverse shows that it's possible to have some restraint (except sometimes I also love the tear your clothes off because can't resist trope).

That said, it's almost too analytical? It's very in depth when it comes to the FMC but I feel like I know nothing of the MMC so it's hard to understand the attraction or the development of the relationship. The MMC are so focused on the FMC's well being that there's no room for their story to grow.

Harley Knight, I'm feeling pretty enamored with your storytelling. This wasn't perfect or even a four stars to me but it sure wasn't missing a lot. Looooved the FMC, loved that she had such a strong character. Loved the banter in this, it was really great.

Thought the pack made a lot of sense together, found the development of their relationship really solid. It lacked some steam in my opinion but this was a really promising first forray into her work.

This toed the line for me. I feel like it could have been a hit, it was almost a hit. Was it too short to be as developped as I wished it had been? Maybe. I LOVED the premises of the story. It was refreshing. I really appreciated having a chronically ill FMC but honestly, it was more say than show and that's always a shame in my book.
That said, considering the shortness of the book, this had a great basis. The writing was fine and flowed naturally. There needed to be a bit more fleshing out of the characters but I guess you can't have it all.

This just did not have the charm of the first book. I'm not sure what was missing for me but I feel like the book stayed surface level with Rosie's trauma. Also, this was a bit darker than the first one so it's like the mood completely switched.

I just want to give Hannah and Maddox a serious hug. Also, I'd like to rewind time back for them. I still get that they might not have worked out but for fuck's sake, these two babies were precious as “kids” and precious as adults. I loved that it wasn't all drama drama but that all the feelings were so deep they reconnected like no time had passed.

This was cute-ish. The pack dynamics were a little weird in that the pack members were so very different it was hard to get why they were so into each other. That said, it was a cute “snowed in” story.
I would say that it lacked some heat or drama to make it memorable.

This was not uninteresting. I do feel like it only explored some stuff superficially, which is a shame considering this had some interesting ideas to begin with. I think the author tried to maintain some sort of balance, not going too light or too dark but this needed to be much darker than it was. The characters weren't developped enough and it lacked some grit.

I almost dnfed this a few times. I can't say it was badly written or that the grammar hurt my soul. It was decent but it was also pretty crazy in a “this escalated so fast really quickly considering the amount of trauma”. The MMC were lacking and honestly quite boring.

I loved the first two installments and was waiting eagerly for the next. I loved all the characters, especially Della. She was an incredible character. This gets really dark, which is interesting because in real life, heroes aren't always on time. I appreciated how this pack got together, quietly but almost inevitably, and that their bond just blossomed. It did not feel rushed, even if very little time actually passes.

The groveling wasn't enough.

IT JUST WASN'T ENOUGH.

(I am PISSED because I actually loooooved Nora and John was fine as hell). That said, THE GROVELING SUCKED. And this is why it's not a 4.5 read.

While this was just a tad less interesting than the first (even if the whole Angelo is a mammoth running joke was absolutely hilarious), it was still great, you know.
Don't skip on S.J. Tilly. Her characters are wholesome, the relationships are FIRE.
