~ Romantasy, thriller, dark romance, and a little bit of monster romance.
I have an endless amount of TBR and I read base off of my mood.

See allHonestly, I don't know what to say. I was going to give this book a 3.5, but, settled for 4.
Some parts were just unhinged and I am glad Addie was able to overcome what she overcame. I actually cam to really like Sibby.
Z is questionable. Well, I like him, but, I definitely question some of his choices when it comes to Addie.
Witches!
Okay, let me just state that this was such a cozy read with a Halloween, small town vibes. I enjoyed every minute of it and adored the characters. I love Jade, you'll find out why when you read it. So if you're looking for something cozy, something witchy, something fun to read this might just be it for you.
“I wouldn't let the fear of the risk outweigh the possibility of reward.”
Burn is a YA paranormal fantasy filled with ghosts, golems, demons, and plenty of supernatural intrigue.
We follow Astar (half demon, half human) and Nora (a human raised in the paranormal world), and their dynamic was one of my favorite parts of the book. It hooked me at the beginning, though the pacing slowed a bit in the middle. Around the 100-page mark, it picked back up and kept me more engaged.
Nora's character stood out to me—she struggles with self-doubt while carrying the weight of her family legacy, and the idea that runes offer great power but devastating consequences adds a strong layer of tension to her journey. Astar, on the other hand, knows what he's capable of but holds back, which leads to secrets and plenty of unanswered questions.
I really enjoyed both their relationship development and their individual growth. By the end, I was fully invested and curious to see where their path leads next.
There's still so much to explore with these characters, especially after that ending, and I'd definitely continue the series.
Side note: I would love to see more of Mira's character—there's a lot of potential there that I hope gets explored.
