Darla was such a sad excuse for a mother. It was disgusting that she risked her children’s lives to the point where her oldest had to take her sisters, but the minute she took them, she was blackmailing her. I was waiting for Eloise to put that woman in her place. Nate was a POS; I saw right through him and all his favors. He gave weirdo vibes immediately. Beau was just so cute in how overprotective he became with Eloise, and I just love an MMC with a piercing on his *COCK*! The racing aspect of the book made this so entertaining, but I have questions starting with… How did Nate get a video of Eloise & Beau? Hmm, like I said, he was a bit of a weirdo. The epilogue was great, I think the ending was perfect for Beau & Eloise’s story. If you’re a fan of rivals to lovers and forced proximity, I recommend you pick this one up.

I don’t know why it took me so long to pick this book back up. I put my big girl pants on and stuck to it. This book had me so angry.

I hate to say it but River pissed me off at times. She took so much mental, physical, and sexual abuse from men for YEARS, from a very young age but being CHEATED ON is where she drew the line and finally decided to do something about her situation… I was baffled.
Mako was PERFECT! That’s it.

I loved Amelia! She was such a great friend to River, she was refreshing.
Alison… Ryan’s (River’s current boyfriend and abuser) ex-victim… I’m very glad she did not decide to stay quiet and decided to warn River, however, I was very confused by that one sex scene with her… One minute River is confessing she killed Ryan and the next they’re stripping each other down. Hot but so totally confusing lol.
I HATED RYAN, I think he got exactly what he deserved and I refused to feel bad for what happened to him as a kid. Did he deserve it? No. But that did not give him the right to do the things he did to his girlfriends.
Barbie (River’s mother) & Billy (River’s long-time abuser) both deserve to rot in hell. The things they put that girl through are shocking. And yes I say “they” because Barbie just watched as those men beat and raped her daughter. Disgusting excuse of a woman and mother.
“Do what you need to do, but I’m not leaving you alone.”
Amar was cool, based on the little he did have on-page. A cop turning a blind eye to let a victim deal with her abuser is always a cool dude in my book.
That plot twist was… certainly unexpected and made things grosser than they already were.
I could not have chosen a better ending for Mako and River. I’m giving this five stars because although it did have me pissed off for more than half of it, I enjoyed seeing River handle her business (better late than never) and again Mako is PERFECT, so there’s that. It was a great read, you know once I put my big girl pants on and restarted it. There’s a lot of rape (I’m going to say the FMC was raped every time her POV came around), not explicitly detailed but it’s there so keep that in mind.

It took me a while to get to this book and I don’t know why I took so long! I definitely see the hype. I love Xaden, SHOCKER. Liam… Poor Liam, I will never forgive Rebecca for what she did to my boy Liam. Everyone seems to love Tairn and don’t get me wrong I love that dragon too, he was funny, but Andarna has a special place in my heart, she was too cute.

I won’t lie, I disliked Dain from the very start. He just seemed like the type of guy who befriends a woman for the sole purpose of getting her trust and getting in her pants. With that being said, Dain overstepping boundaries after telling Violet that he’d never look into her mind against her will again was not in my bingo card although it should’ve been… I don’t know why I never came to the conclusion that he could be overstepping boundaries until Xaden spelled it out…
In my opinion, the book was great, and it was very entertaining. That ending though, I did not expect it… I saw a spoiler (I didn’t think it was a spoiler at the time) about Brennan and I was SHOCKED. It does leave off with a cliffhanger so it’s a good thing the second book is already out.

It took me a while to get to this book and I don’t know why I took so long! I definitely see the hype. I love Xaden, SHOCKER. Liam… Poor Liam, I will never forgive Rebecca for what she did to my boy Liam. Everyone seems to love Tairn and don’t get me wrong I love that dragon too, he was funny, but Andarna has a special place in my heart, she was too cute.

I won’t lie, I disliked Dain from the very start. He just seemed like the type of guy who befriends a woman for the sole purpose of getting her trust and getting in her pants. With that being said, Dain overstepping boundaries after telling Violet that he’d never look into her mind against her will again was not in my bingo card although it should’ve been… I don’t know why I never came to the conclusion that he could be overstepping boundaries until Xaden spelled it out…
In my opinion, the book was great, and it was very entertaining. That ending though, I did not expect it… I saw a spoiler (I didn’t think it was a spoiler at the time) about Brennan and I was SHOCKED. It does leave off with a cliffhanger so it’s a good thing the second book is already out.

If you love a whimpering book boyfriend this is one you should check out.

This is my first book by this author, and I enjoyed it however I did feel like it was a little rushed towards the end. Poor Millie just couldn’t catch a break, she loses her fiancé and her best friend on the same day, she moves to a new place away from her cheating ex-fiancé and her homewrecking best friend and once she gets to Ranger Ridge she starts getting stalked and to make matters worse, the police won’t do anything about it because “It might be a secret admirer”... insane but okay. I enjoyed the mystery this had. For a debut novel, it is pretty good.

A HUGE thank you to Daniele for reaching out and sending me a copy of this short story. I loved it! I loved the whole idea of reincarnation. Max is a ten-year-old boy who sadly passes away too young—leaving both his parents behind with the promise of meeting up in heaven. Max is reincarnated on a different planet and wants to find a way back home to his planet and family.
I loved that Elizabeth (Max’s mom) never gave up hope. I found a bit of myself in her as I too look up at the sky to speak to a loved one. I did not expect the ending. It was such a sad twist when Max came back home to find that his father was no longer on earth. I wonder what became of Max and his mom, I wonder if the family ever got back together.

This is a great and fast read for when you’re in between reads. I will say that I found Stella to be a bit juvenile at times but it is what it is. I think she did entirely too much when she found out about the painting Jasper had bought when they were kids, yeah it was messed up to keep it to himself all those years but girl, it was when you were kids, get over it. I sure wouldn’t mess up what they had going on for a drawing that was made in school lol. There’s something about a man who takes care of his woman (even though she wasn’t his woman yet) that gets me going, like yes sir, show her you care! Love him. If you’re looking for a fast, fun, and spicy holiday read, I suggest picking this novella up when it releases.
