Well it was Ok I suppose, but it lacked the wit and depth of Pratchett or Adams and I didn't warm to Mr Mayhew. I may try another Gaiman novel at some point - but I'm in no hurry.
I loved this book. Desperately sad for the most part but beautifully written and constantly kept me wanting to learn and understand more. It is dizzying and confusing throughout but the reveal at the end makes it all clear and well worth the journey.
Quite a short book so stick with it even if you can't work out what's going on!
Wow! What an absolutely brilliant book! I loved the world, the characters and the brilliant allomancy. All woven together superbly from the perspective of an unwitting heroine.
It is quite a long book, but it kept me interested all the way through until the amazing climax.
Highly recommended. I would love to see a movie made of this!
I loved this book. A brilliant finale to a superb trilogy. It lacks a fifth star, however, because it felt a bit rushed compared to the first two books. Indeed placing it back on the shelf it stands out as the thinnest of the three books. So, brilliant as it is, I expected more!
Also. Let's hope for a new trilogy following Juliette and Co as they make their new life - and find out what happens to the occupants of the other silos.
