My heart wants to give this a higher rating but my logic will not.

It's clunky and confusing on the plotline and the love interest are full of trigger warnings that aren't executed well. I wish that the world was explained and expanded on better. I thought that it was unnecessarily vulgar for something with 2/5 spice. As for the FMC, god she was irritating. At the start of the book I found her little 'relatable' internal thoughts funny and interesting, but by the middle of the book I found her annoying. It was like she was interrupting you just as you were reading something good.

Although I have all these criticisms, I could not stop reading. It felt like that fanfiction you'd read on your phone at 3am, and I loved that. I was absolutely devastated with it ending and I do hope that the next book improves cause I will be reading it.
