Surprisingly full of twists! Yang and Pham are a stellar team because everything about this came together nicely.

And here comes the love triangle.

I will read anything Liu and Takeda do, especially if it's horror. Art is fantastic and the story is gripping.

There wasn't much to hold on to. We flitted through time too fast, lingered not long enough and I had a hard time feeling connected after Grimalkin left Eilidh. Still, parts grabbed me and didn't let go.

This sentence about sums up how silly this book could be: “It was Dr. Miranda of the Miranda Clinic who taught me that some people are hatched from eggs.”

More introspective than I normally gravitate to, but this was a passionate reminder that books are important.

I thought because I really enjoy Blackwell's mysteries I'd like this too, but I wasn't really into it. There just wasn't much to keep me engaged.

Pretty sure I've loved everything she's written. She writes in a quiet, but impactful way that's hard for me to describe. I love the characters so much and the subject matter is so hard to read about, but I loved everywhere this book took me.

As usual so many twists I'm dizzy.

I was expecting to enjoy this more than I did, but it felt alternately messy and boring.

This had everything you want in a mystery, but something about Mia rubbed me the wrong way. And it was sad. Sad on so many different levels. It had my emotions bouncing all over the place.

Didn't quite engage me as much as the last ones have.

I finished this 3 days ago and I still don't think I understood what happened. It had DID and also maybe a cult? Some sort of secret society that is bonkers. It felt like everything was everywhere.

I was hooked from the beginning but once they figured out who the killer was it seemed to take too long to wrap everything up and catch him. I kind of lost interest near the end.

I went back and forth between being invested and being bored by this book. It started to really get good and could have been a 4 star book, but waiting for Cordelia to piece everything together when she was being handed the information was painful and that just about ruined the book for me.

Highly enjoyable! So much fun and I loved the Baby Witches!

I can truly say I knew who was doing what here, but I did NOT guess the truth about Daisy Darker. Strangely, I did at one point guess correctly, but it was so fleeting it doesn't count. Truly a twisty, fun ride.

This made me feel like I could open up a bookshop! I love the frankness of the characters in regards to their thoughts. They own up to their flaws and strengths and I enjoyed the interactions they had with each other. The book slowed down for me with the details about editing and writing good sentences and then again with a bit of philosophy, but picked up again after that. It didn't grab me the way other recent bookshop books have, but I did enjoy it.

Was worried this was going to be like Death of a Bookseller, but this was so much better!

I loved Tuesday Mooney so, of course, I had to read Racculia's other books. I didn't expect to love this as much as Tuesday Mooney, but I almost did.

I still enjoy these stories but I do wish we didn't have to go over the rules and read the same reactions to them every time. I feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over again.

Surprisingly loved this. I didn't think I would, it wasn't perfect. There were moments where I was irritated with everyone, but when I finished I let out a big sigh and felt satisfied.

I got to about page 330, to the “confession time” and realized I did not care.

But I finished so I should get a medal.

This book really bummed me out.

SO GOOD! I will say, I knew who the “bad guy” was right away, but this was still totally worth the read.
