I wish I could give this 10 stars. What a great audio book. Loved the stories, the lessons learned, the education of running - all of it.

A classic with many good lessons to learn.

Remarkably cleverly written book about teenage love, life threatening diseases, and being true to one's self.

I wanted to like this book, but I didn't. Feels like the author was writing this so it would be made into a movie.

Horrible. Unbelievable. Cliché. Full of pedos.

What an awesome audio book. If you have a road trip coming, this would make for an excellent companion. The characters are rich, the scenes vivid, the humor just right and the pace perfect. I didn't want this book to end.

Loved every minute.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tale of a sheepherder and his dreams. Sweet and satisfying ending.

Infuriatingly Funny

I don't know what to say. This book is nothing like I've read before. One minute you are laughing and loving the book and the next you are hating it. Read it. You'll definitely be entertained.

What an awesome audiobook. I loved this so much. There are lots of deep themes here: indigenous issues, COVID-19, BLM and George Floyd to name a few. Throw in a haunted book store and you never know what's coming next.

Louise is such a gifted storyteller. The book was vivid, funny, heart wrenching and informative. Loved it.

Perfect

Loved this perfect short story of two unlikely heroes during WW2.

You can almost picture them chatting on their respective devices like love-struck teenagers.

Lots in this little book. I suggest you read it.

A great story of triumph, perseverance, humility and fear. The writing was very good and surprisingly non-repetitive considering the nature of the book: sick, better, sicker, better, sick, sick, better, sick, better and better, then sick again.

Lots of lessons to learn from the author. Live in the moment seems to be the one that resonances with me.

a bit of history sprinkled with heart-pumping racing.

This is a wonderful book that will keep your adrenaline racing as you rip through the pages. If you are a cyclist you'll be a awed at the sheer athleticism and grit of these riders. Awesome book.

Sophomoric, unrealistic and boring.

I just love Butler and her story telling. A wonder sequel with a satisfying ending.

conflicted

Decent story and well-paced and yet undeniably predictable. I did feel the ending was a bit rushed. Still worth a read on the beach.

WOW - I loved, loved, loved this audio book. Octavia was a brilliant writer. Her descriptions of events and situations are spectacular.

There are plenty of reviews to tell you what this book is about so I don't need to. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book.

Butler was a genius writer.

Absolutely delightful

What a wonderful story of intrigue, relationships and mystery. This is a laugh out loud short story with a cute ending.

Solve the Case of the Missing Plot!

I had hopes this was better. What I liked: The first 1/3 was coherent, clever and filled with characters with interesting stories. I loved the teen girls relationship and the cool references to Nancy Drew. But after a while I lost the thread. I lost the point. I lost hope.

A bit sophomoric

This novel felt like reading a rough draft. There were times that I liked the feeling of tension but overall the book lacked character development and depth.

Not so awesome. I was expecting more horror.

Great narrator. Decent story. Way too long.

autobiographies always get 5 stars

Heartfelt, entertaining, funny and thought-provoking. Perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Shonda Rhimes and her creative process. Highly recommend this book.

Superb audio book. What a delightful love story.

emotional

I enjoyed some of the book. At times I was confused with the timing as it jumps around a bit. Overall a nice quick emotional read.
