What an awesome audiobook. I loved this so much. There are lots of deep themes here: indigenous issues, COVID-19, BLM and George Floyd to name a few. Throw in a haunted book store and you never know what's coming next.
Louise is such a gifted storyteller. The book was vivid, funny, heart wrenching and informative. Loved it.
A great story of triumph, perseverance, humility and fear. The writing was very good and surprisingly non-repetitive considering the nature of the book: sick, better, sicker, better, sick, sick, better, sick, better and better, then sick again.
Lots of lessons to learn from the author. Live in the moment seems to be the one that resonances with me.
Solve the Case of the Missing Plot!
I had hopes this was better. What I liked: The first 1/3 was coherent, clever and filled with characters with interesting stories. I loved the teen girls relationship and the cool references to Nancy Drew. But after a while I lost the thread. I lost the point. I lost hope.
