This is more of a 2 1/2 star book, but I'll round up to 3.

Lydia Kang does it again!!!!! I absolutely ADORED this and felt so strongly for Cora!!!!!!!

DNF at pages 65, this isn't necessarily a bad book, but it definitely is not for me and not something I will ever want to finish.

I will most likely never read this again after I finally pass this class, but it does put things in an easier-to-understand way.

That was an absolutely DELIGHTFUL way to end this year in reading!!!!!!!!! A FANTASTIC book to end a FANTASTIC year!!!!!!!!!

DNF at page 190, I figured this info would be outdated a little, but some of this is blatantly wrong, and the amount of sexism, antisemitism, and ableism is pissing me off.

This is SUCH an Incredibly powerful memoir!!!!!!!!! Especially as a fellow nonbinary, discovering other people truly do go through these feelings, feelings I've had but thought were abnormal even though I'm around/talk to a Lot of nonbinary and trans folk, seeing these feelings laid out in color on the page is so heartening, I currently do Not have the words to describe it!!!!!!!!!!!

This was honestly a view changing read for me!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY recommend for anyone and everyone struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or, well, just life really!!!!!!!!!!

I started reading this because of the Dracula Daily emails, since it was free to sign up and hey, why not? But I Never expected to actually LOVE Dracula this much!!!!!!! I owe a lot of my affection for it to the emails, since they got sent to me in actual chronological order, and I know I wouldn't have liked it as much if I didn't read it in chronological order!!!!!!!!!! Either way, absolutely LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAH This series is SUCH a sweet feel-good kind of series!!!!!! I can't WAIT to get the next volume!!!!!!!

That was EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's so so SO MUCH packed into this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The way the house changes people just by being known, the way the Narrative is part of the story, the relationships, the METAPHORS!!!!!!!!!! There's so so much here especially in regards to how people survive the changes the house brings, ultimately surviving not just the house but also themselves, the way some people Couldn't survive, the outside forces, the internal forces, the Pictures and glimpses into both Zampanò and Johnny as people!!!!!!!!!!!! While I can see how this book wouldn't be for everyone, I still HIGHLY RECOMMEND at Least giving it a try!!!!!!!!!! This is probably the most beautifully written phycological horror I've EVER read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was SO FUCKING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be honest here, I grew up on all of the Middle Earth movies, so I've been very hesitant to read the books for so long because I was afraid they would ruin the movies for me, but that's definitely not the case!!!!!!!!! This was so, SO GOOD!!!!!!!!! I LOVE Middle Earth SO MUCH!!!!!!!! And if anything, this only strengthened that love!!!!!!!!!! I loved Bilbo's character arc So So much!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to dive into the next one!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first ever buddy read with https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/15335689-destiny-howling-libraries!!!!!!!! And WOW HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was SO INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! I LOVED the descriptions of the rot and the changes Benji went through!!!!!!!!! And I fell so deeply in love with these characters, especially Benji and Nick!!!!!!!!!!! I just want them to be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This now holds a very special place in my heart, and has even managed to make it onto my All Time Favs shelf!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY Recommend if you want a gory, diverse end-of-the-world kind of book, or if you just like horror in general!!!!!!!!!!!

This was SUCH a beautiful, sad, and powerful story!!!!!!! I'm sure I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but I'm so very glad that this is such a popular book, because I really do think it has an important message!!!!!!! Also, I will admit, it exceeded my expectations!!!!!!!!

This was BEAUTIFULLY written first of all!!!!!!! This entire series after the first book reads like a tragedy, because it's so obvious that the series couldn't end without Rin's death, but it's written in such a way that even knowing how it was going to end, it was still DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!! The BETRAYALS, the PARANOIA, the fact that Rin basically FORCED Nezha to kill her!!!!!!!!!!! I am not going to be ok I am going to be thinking about this for a VERY long time!!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend just be prepared to be ruined!!!!!!!!!!!
