I thought I was going to cry in the end and I did. It was so sad but so right at the same time. I love this book. I think it's my favourite book of the year (so far). Buy it, borrow it, read it. I don't know what else to say.

This was a cute and fun read. I was more interested in Cammie's friendships then her relationship with Josh so near the end of the book I was tired of reading about him and wanted more scenes between her Liz, Bex and Macey. Actually I wanted to read from their perspective as well. I love the teachers and her mom as well. I might continue the series :).

I gotta say these books are pretty scary for children's books. So the perfect amount of scary for me because I don't think I'd be able to handle scarier. I love them, they are funny and charming and spooky. Love it. Can't wait for the next book. I also have to say I really loved George in this book and am disappointed that Lucy doesn't really have any female friends, it was very apparent in this book with the introduction of the assistant. Now to be fair the only real friends Lucy has are Lockwood and George and they are her coworker/room mates. Everyone else is just an acquaintance who she tolerates at best male or female but I would love for her to have at least one good female friend.

Steampunk adventuring continues and proves that pregnant ladies can take care of themselves against vampires ;).

I loved it. The characters continue to be a joy and the humour, sharp.
The story was all right, it gave some interesting revelations but didn't hold my interest too much. I only really cared about the characters.

Summer read
Familiar world
lovable characters
not so lovable characters
characters surprising you
in good and bad ways
my favourite Dessen main character
who had a sweet little brother
loved the story conclusion.

This was one of my favourite Dessen reads. I loved Emmaline's journey and Emmaline is probably my favourite Dessen main character :). And Benji is the sweetest, I'd love to see more of him.

I read this book back in high school (not for school). I have read it multiple times (its not long) and have a fondness for it.

A quick read
surprising twists
and an interesting premise.
However, there was
unnecessary telling and
the world building as well as the
characters needed more
depth.

Re-read it and I still love it.

Loved it!

I wish goodreads allowed half ratings. I keep trying to decide if I should give this book a 3 star or a 4 star when I really want to settle for in between them, but I can't. I liked this book, it was a lovely read one I would recommend but not one I would re-read. Once was enough but I am happy I read it.

I HAVE CONQUERED THIS BOOK. It was definitely a quick read (thank goodness because I wouldn't have finished it otherwise). I think the author could have easily take out a 100 words out of this book and it would have been a better read, that may not have helped me like the characters any better but it would have made it a better read.

One of my favourite Maggie Stiefvater books. I absolutely loved it.

I loved it. I am also happy it's not as scary as I thought it was going to be.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I thought it was a solid read and I will happily continue the series. I thought I had the twist figured out until it was revealed. I was close but still wrong. I would love to learn more about the world our characters inhabit and about our characters.

loved it. was sad at the end.

2.5 stars to be more accurate. Sorry to say it but I didn't enjoy this end to the series. I thought it was too cookie-cutter perfect happily ever after and I think it didn't fit Adrian and Sydney at all.

I can't give a proper well written thought out review because well I am nothing but feelings now. I read this book in less than a day and it well. Ahhhh. Anyway I loved it, I loved it a lot. It wasn't perfect but gosh darn it, it pulled off many things perfectly. I love how Sarah Rees Brennan writes friendships and siblings and parent-child relationships, I love that there are so many different variations of each in her books.

I am happy with the way the book ended, I was sad for a lot of the book, my pillow was wet with my tears, I skipped dinner and grew hungry as I read this book, I went to bed late finishing this book and am now tired here at work (where I should be working and not writing about how a book gave me feelings). This is probably such an unhelpful review but I don't care read the book! Read the series, read The Demon's Lexicon just pick up all things Sarah Rees Brennan.

I love this series. I love this author's writing. I will read anything she writes even though she likes to make me cry (I forgive her because she also makes me laugh).

I loved it. Political intrigue. Assassins. Treachery. Gods of Death. Intense love.

This books was scary, funny and fantastic. I scare easy but I figured I could handle a middle grade and I did but that didn't stop my heart racing. If you haven't tried anything by Jonathan Stroud you need to fix that, I am so happy this is a new series.

This was pretty damn good. From the minute I started I barely put it down.

This was my second time reading this book and I liked it a lot more than i did the first time. The first time I read Shadow and Bone it was my first introduction to the Grisha verse and I was 11 years younger. I had less empathy and understanding for younger protagonists even though i was closer to their age back in 2009 then I am now. It's strange how maturing does that. When I first read this book I didn't care for Alina or Mal and their relationship and I thought the Darkling was a creepy old man in a young man's body. Re-reading the book now I understand Alina and Mal and care more for their relationship even though I still think Mal could have done better before he and Alina were separated but he's a teenage boy and didn't know what he had until it was gone and I can understand being that young and having little to no self-awareness. Honestly the two of them being separated was good for Alina's well being. I still think the Darkling is a creepy old man and honestly even more so, this man is ancient (according to his mother) and he is out here making out with a teenager and asking if he can come to her bedroom later. Ew i don't care if he looks like a teen or is hot. Just ugh. Anyway another reason I enjoyed this book more now is because I have already read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom and I knew what the words Suli, Shu Han, Fjerdan and Kerch meant, they weren't meaningless words to me that went over my head so having that knowledge helped me understand what i was reading better. This time i might actually read the next book.

More like 3.5 but I rounded up.

I thought this was a lovely read and the illustrations are beautiful
