And as a former church girl? This book realllyyyyyy hit me in all of the feels. Jescie Hall hit the nail on the head with this one for sure. And as always? Joe. Arden. F**KING. DELIVERED. IN. THE AUDIOBOOK. 🥺

The emotional roller coaster this book put me through 😩🤌🏾✨️And the way I bawled when she went into his garage because he bought back everything of her dad's that Vera sold 😭

I love when 2 black sheeps find happiness and understanding within one another.I didn't think that reading about Poseidon being tired and choosing his own happiness would be on my bingo card. Or that he's a sub 😏🥵But here it is and I'm elated 🤗

While I can relate to Ollie as the oldest sibling and the whole: oldest child guilt thing? This book gets 3 stars instead of 4 because it left me slightly confused on if Cooper is the father of Briar or not. Normally, a 99% Match means he IS her father. Why did she say: Why did you keep looking for me even after you found out I wasn't your daughter?Like. Which is it? Is she or isn't she? Last I checked? 99.99% MATCH = FAMILY!A small part of me truly believes that this was a typo that went unnoticed and that irks me greatly.

Such a beautiful end to a beautiful series 😍 

I'm a sucker for forbidden romances between a teacher and their student. 🤌🏾✨️ Also with the storm-chasing aspect of the book, it took me back to when I was young and used to watch “Deadline to Disaster” with my cousins on The Weather Channel

Once again, Ms. Rose did not disappoint and there was a plot twist I didn't see coming which had me gagged! If she writes a third one I'd love to read it 😍

Bully romances aren't my favorite. Neither are secret societies. This was still an enjoyable read/listen for me since it was also a taboo/forbidden romance. I'm 10 yr older than the FMC and wish I had an ounce of her confidence back when I was her age. Also love that she wasn't only confident but strong. A true fighter without being annoyingly whiney 🙌🏾

Fake dating is my least favorite troupe but couple it with revenge? Especially feminine rage? I'm so there! 🙌🏾

I love a good revenge plot  and I really love how Tyson “My Wife” Riley Crawford is giving heavyyyy Hades vibes 😩🥵 but holy shit was this book exceedingly long. I did not care for the pacing and I would have given the book 3.5 stars if I could because:1) What the eff kind of name is Laikyn? Or Ellington? Let alone Holston and Hartlyn? Like. Seriously? That's what you went with??2) The 🌶 with the tying up was redundant3) “She whimpers” every 5 seconds killed me 4) Laikyn saying “Tyson” every 5 seconds from being horny killed me too like girl bffr lol 😅🤣5) “I take what I need” killed me too like jfc is that the only phrase he knows how to use? 🙃The sister jealousy got me to something fierce because I unfortunately have a sister just like Whitney and that is frightening

So I originally wanted to read this series because it was a recommendation in my FB group. I decided to give it a go because Podium recently expanded their library to “Hoopla” (who doesn't love free audiobooks) and someone in my Sleep Token group was looking for “Provider” vibes. With all the hype and joy I was having regarding the new ST album I figured: why not? time is right. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars because some of the plot was predictable. I did NOT however see Nero's ex-fling Nikki being behind Payton getting kidnapped though. I thought she was more afraid of Nero than that. But I gotta admit, I like that S.J. Tilly took that approach 👏🏾👌🏾

King. “My Wife” Bartholomew. Vass. 🥵 I never understood the hype of the “My Wife” troupe but with this being my 3rd “My Wife” MMC (following behind Colin “My Wife” Bridgerton and Tyson “My Wife” Riley Crawford) and I get the hype now. 🙌🏾

There were only 2 parts of this story that were predictable but not annoyingly enough for me to give if a 4 out of 5 stars. I am obsessed with Savannah and King. Their chemistry? Loved it. Their banter? Hilarious. The angst? Swoooon! Their mutual exhibition/voeyurism kink? Panty melting 🫠

Holy. Guacamole. 🥵As a divorcee myself I could really put myself in Delaney's shoes. It was easy for me to keep sleeping with my ex-husband during the initial 1st yr of separation. But thankfully the sex blinders came off within that year and I got the closure I needed to move on and sign our dissolution papers. But I digress.Preston's filthy mouth was a whole vibe. 🙌🏾 Their exhibition/voyeurism kink? That plane ride scene... in their 1st class seats!! That balcony scene in Vegas?! AND they had the balls to confront the dude after?! Whewww!!!! Not to mention that whole degradation/praise kink dynamic along with the kink of being caught. This book had all my kinks perfectly written 🫠🫠Let's not forget how absolutely hot as hell it was that Preston pierced her clit and had a custom jewelry piece made for it. Or how sweet it was that he the same style jewelry piece he wore around his neck everyday. God I love them 😩😩

Whewww. We all need a man like him. The way I put 2 and 2 together though in regards to his plot broke my heart a little. But I love how he loves His Valentine. The way I knew who was after his family though was even more obvious but there was an element to the who that still added shock factor. 👌🏾

That Epilogue peaked my interest enough to now I'm definitely going to read “Hans” 🤣

So when I used to live in my apartment building? I had a sexy neighbor but he lived upstairs. But he was with someone so I'm really glad I never tried to shoot my shot. Talk about embarrassing 😅🤣

5-star read all around. I'm such a simp for the enemies-to-lovers troupe 🙌🏾

Listening to Jacob Morgan pulling off the most sinfully delicious Italian accent has me in a puddle on the floor 🫠 Idk what was sexier. That limo scene or the way he would just randomly speak Italian to her 🥵🥵

I'm also really liking the billionaire troupe. 

I honestly wasn't going to give this book a try. But the fact that Cassie can't bake for shit and he eats it anyway is hilarious.I liked the danger element of hunting down human traffickers that took his sister and him being out for vengeance. Especially since when Karmen and her team showed up to save Dom & Val in “Dom”... the way I whooped and pumped my fist in the air as I listen on my drive home and I knew I was doomed to listen to “Hans” 🤣 I also thought it was super hot the way he tied her up with her underwear during their first time in his garage and not to mention the road head scene 😏

It's always the quiet ones with the cool expression that got some serious confidence in the bedroom. Listening to Kai's voice in that English accent just made it even better 🥵 I love when a man has his woman's back 100% and has unwaivering faith in her. 🤗 I'm normally not a fan of the hidden identity troupe but it was very well done with Isabella. Not to mention all the other interesting twists and turns the plot took. The plot was plotting and the spice was spicing. That secret room scene with the feather 🥵🥵Also appreciate the representation of not knowing your purpose and worrying about failure. As an ADHD'er with Imposter Syndrome? It really resonated 🙏🏾

I do not know how Jescie does it but once again she's had my mouth hanging open throughout this entire book. She writes amazing Femme Fatales and I just eat it up every single time. I also want to shout out that Shane is a biker and we got many delicious scenes of him on the bike. 🥵

I myself am divorced and the way I could relate to this story was everything. I don't regret my divorce though because my ex was (and still is) toxic and we were toxic together in the end. I am very happy in my new relationship, this man I am with now is 10x the man my ex (and father of my child is). But this little hopeful story healed a small part of my newly divorced self that wanted and hoped for the man I married and had a child with would return. 

I really really really enjoyed this slowburn and the YEARS of yearning 🤌🏾
I love when a damaged MMC meets a damaged FMC and they heal each other through love. It reminds me of my own love story and just makes it all the more personable ane relatable.

I could very much relate to Sloane's rivalry with her sister. It added another element and an interest depth to the storyline that I could relate to with me being Sloane (even though I'm the eldest) and Georgia being my sister (she's the youngest). Not just the rivalry, but the way my sister manufactured our rivalry and has more than once tried to go after things she could NOT have. Especially if I had them first. 

Now..... I thought Kai and Dante were top book boyfriend innerG but the way Xavier handled business and really took care of Sloane was just swoonworthy!! A man willing to throw hands on your behalf?! Yes please! 🥵 

Oh! and don't get me started on the ahem shoe scene 🥵

This troupe is my favorite taboo/forbidden romance. The sneaking around and the chances of being caught add a little extra thrill to the book. The blowup between the brother and the best friend was palpable. Don't ask me why but I eat it up. Love the dramatic blow ups 🤣

This was a fun quick little taboo read. I wasn't completely sure how I would feel about the dad's best friend side of taboo romance but I enjoyed it 🤗 This book was also slightly educational for me in regards to breeding k1nk so double win for me. Either Kayla has this k1nk herself or she did her research. Regardless. I do love when a book is entertaining AND educational 

I am such a simp for the Marriage of Convenience troupé but more importantly? I absolutely love Jason Clarke's voice! He nailed this role and I enjoyed the elements of ASL throughout. It was well done and helped me to really immerse myself within the story. The elements of danger were seamlessly intertwined into the story as well. 🙌🏾 I never would have thought that Rowan Davenport was involved in The Brotherhood. I had a feeling Emmanuel was involved with human trafficking through her agency and that she was somehow funding The Brotherhood. But for her to be the leader of the other faction?! Top. Tier. Plot. Twist.I am really enjoying how everyone with the Anaverse is intertwined throughout and I can't wait for King of Gluttony! Enemies-to-lovers is my all time favorite troupé!!
