I read The Haunting of Aveline Jones last year, and loved the spooky vibes, so was glad to revisit Aveline in the sequel:

Carmilla is for the Nosferatu, classics, sapphic girlies. If I'm honest, I didn't love the book, but it is still worth reading and discussing as it is an important book.
Without Carmilla there would be no Dracula. It is sapphic; it is feminist; it is a gothic classic. She is one of the very first literary depictions of a female vampire.

Well I never expected to weep at a horror novel, but

Rating is for the artwork and general premise of the story, which I really like, and I also enjoy the movie.
The pacing and dialogue throughout isn't the best, but it is a cool graphic novel, and at some point I'll read the next vol.
