I loved this book, the intertwine between the fascinating game world and the deep, complex characters is just perfect. I felt connected to every character and I could understand and have empathy towards their actions. I believe this is one of the best books I read this year so far.

Too boring, didn't finish it. Maybe another time.

Gripping story telling, the author has went to a great length to present the very scary status of global cyber arms race.

Very well written, albeit a bit short. Technically correct and exactly what I needed to understand Packer overall.

Fantastic journey with the legendary Adrian Newey. Very well written.

Fantastic narative that immerses you in the life and genius of one of the greatest minds that every lived.

Hilarious and a fun read.

The insights into psychological biases in the first three chapters were outstanding. I'd recommend it to any one interested in learning about wisdom in decision making. I didn't finish the book though.

The Hot Zone tells this dramatic story, giving a hair-raising account of the
appearance of rare and lethal viruses and their “crashes” into the human race. Shocking, frightening, and impossible to ignore, The Hot Zone proves that truth really is scarier than fiction.

Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions.

Unbelievably funny, extremely smart solutions to impossible problems. The authors creativity and persistence is fascinating.

What I liked about this novel was how different it was from your typical “The Unbeatable Hero” themed action thrillers. The characters were deep, the story was gripping, and Virgil is an easy character to like.

Makes a great point. This is the kind of book that just does one thing, and it does it good, it only gives a new perspective. Simple and elegant.

Interesting, good writing, I like the personality depth given to most characters.

Quite funny

Although Ferris has some outstanding ideas in this book experimenting the human body to its limits, but he is still a bad writer, I think the book lacks flow and could be better organized.

Gripping story, just the right balance between technicality and good storytelling.
