Definitely worth the read, but a tough one with my adhd. I read in sections. Shorter speeches in one sitting, the longer ones I broke up to 3 sittings. Should be on every library shelf!

I had a really hard time getting into this one. It took me literal weeks it feels like to hit the halfway point. Then the story picked up and I finished the last half in one sitting. I don't regret this read but I wouldn't reread.

I throughly enjoyed this book, even with the touch of romance. I had read the first chapter and then got distracted by life. Sat down this afternoon to read and 5 hours later I'm finished. Definitely 5 stars if you're a fan of horror with a touch of realism when it comes to personalities (even if you recognize yourself in it).

Absolutely a glorious book. Great storyline, characters, character development, and general message flowing on the under currents. I'm glad I got a physical copy, it was worth it to hold it while I read.

2.5 stars. Very slow burn, with is not my type of book. was expecting horror, (a lot more) gore and a smidgen of romance. instead I felt like I was reading young adult fantasy.

What an awesome book! it's like sitting down and chatting with Stigma & the odd bits like the kids story and photos are great.

Great storyline but the ending felt way to abrupt. Like the author just said “welp I'm bored. Let's wrap it up.”

Started out really good but the author tried too hard with the “twists and turns” at the end. Really outlandish, and jumps around too much. Shame because the first 3/5 of the book had a ton of promise.

I was so psyched to get this book but ended up putting it in the dnf pile. It reads like it was written by a horny 16 year old goth kid.

This is another book that I did not finish. I'm not sure why, maybe it was too many character story lines, or maybe it was the writing. Either way, I did not finish it.

I actually DNF this book, the writing & storyline seemed too forced. The very beginning was very heartfelt and flowed nicely, but once he woke up from cryo, it just seemed... stereotypical? I couldn't make myself finish it.

I was expecting to eat this one up, but could NOT get into it or make myself pick up the book to continue reading. I think it was the writing style & character development.

Quick Easy Read

This book was a quick and easy read. There were plot holes that you could tell the author filled with the easiest solution but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

One day read! I couldn't put it down! Twists galore!

Absolutely loved it, from the beginning, through the back story and until the end.

Something about the middle third of this book made it draaaag for me. Premise is cool, but it started to feel like a chore.

I'm not usually a Koontz fan, but this was good. Read it every free moment I had. One of the two storylines kind of ended.. lackluster, but other than that, worth a read.

I can't put my finger on it, but the story is missing something. Regardless, a fun read, especially for history nerds.

Absolutely riveting, enough action to keep your attention, sci-fi to scramble your brain & a double lovestory.

Holy shit. I could barely get through this. I hope volumn two is better.

Very broad account of American science, with sourced facts & statistics. If you're a science nerd or enjoy history even, this book will be right up your alley.

Absolutely phenomenal writing. I love a good time travel so this was right up my alley.

I'll admit I bought this one because I was curious about Donald Trump's home life. I envisioned something lavish, and while it was definitely that, it was also horrifically sad and quite pathetic. Oddly enough, I've gained a little bit of understanding of Trump's irrational behavior, and even feel a bit of pity for him. Alas. The book itself was a quick read, interesting enough, and explained a bit of the Trump family background. I'm glad I took the time to read it.

Very interesting book. Lets say 3.5 stars. The political information was pretty accurate, and I enjoyed reading about it, however the speech and such didn't quite add up for teens from East Germany in the 70s & 80s. Not to mention Mohr talks of the punks learning of western punk bands but only mentions bands beyond the Sex Pistols once which Im sure wasn't the only band that leaked over. Anyway, worth the read.

I was really skeptical of this book, statistics really bore me even if its something I want to learn about. However Mr. Balko did a wonderful job tying everything together, from stories to witnesses to laws to sources. Absolutely a must read for anyone paying attention to the police now days.
