This was such a disappointment after loving the first 2 books - there was a severe lack of world building meaning I felt zero connection to the characters and story. Such a shame as Mishe was a great character in the earlier books!

With how much people love this and give it 5 stars, I expected to absolutely love it but something just didn't click for me. It felt like the parts which should have been explained more weren't, but then the parts which didn't need explaining were drawn out so much. It was just bizarre. Absolutely loved Stratt and Rocky though, and I also liked how this ended as I wasn't expecting it.

You cannot go wrong with a thriller from T.M. Logan and this was no different!

I feel like this is him leaning more into the crime thriller side when a lot of his previous books have felt a bit more on the domestic thriller side, but it really worked.

As usual, the plot is engrossing and the suspense ramps up throughout with a great ending. All in all, a solid thriller from a reliable author!

Just as manic and over the top as others in the series, but this one didn't quite hit the highs of the others for me.

I really liked some of the elements of this floor- the different locations, the card battle system, the more touching moments especially between Carl and Donut, and the AI getting more unhinged chapter by chapter.

This one did feel a bit too long for what happens and I did find my mind wandering at times and wanting it to hurry along.

Absolutely loved the audio as usual!

I've been waiting for this one since it was announced last year and it did not disappoint! I love Kye and Fallon, they've had such a bond since book 1 so I knew their book was going to be good.

Honestly, by this point I know the plot points down to the percentage read in the book so perhaps it's time for Ms Cowles to change up the formula a bit, but it's still enjoyable and I'll still keep on reading them.
