
The fact this is based on a true story makes this even more terrifying. As a parent, this is one of the worst things you can think of happening and I was gripped the entire way though. It's not quite my favourite from the author but still really good.

I was looking forward to starting this and enjoyed the first 20% ish, but after that it became so tedious with the excessive amount of detail that it felt like a slog.
It's obviously incredibly well researched and perhaps it was too long a period to cover, perhaps it was the author's way of writing, but it was way too long and overwritten to be that enjoyable in the end.

Despite the 3 billion times we're told how big and large and "built" Levi is and how ridiculously long it took stupidly smart PhD Dr Bee to realise he didn't hate her and was in fact her Twitter pal (obvious from page 26), this was good!
Love a nerdy book, love women in STEM, love cats, just a whole lot to like about this book. 👍
