There were a few plot constancy issues sprinkled throughout the book and some very major cringe moments at the beginning (how many times can the MFC call herself "Mousy" in just a few chapter?) But overall I did enjoy the story. Got me started on my cowboy romance kick again.

Too many POVs. Found that the book ended very abruptly without anything really happening. Like the big conflict should have definitely been more dramatic than it was. Maybe that's just me. If was still good but kind of lacking. Maybe the show will have more to it?

Yes, I cried. Yes, the book was good. Yes, I loved the writing. Do I really need to say anymore?

If Elsa Dutton is your favorite Yellowstone character then this book is for you. This book shows the horrors and the hope in the American West. It also features some very important figures in history during the time that you may not have heard of otherwise. A blend of fiction and reality.

Cute but then it kind of lost its small town cowboy charm towards the end.

Cute supernatural romance. One of my favorite Hazelwood novels so far.
