This book helps open one's eyes and helps put some things in perspective.

I'll probably read it again in the future.

This is, in my personal opinion, one of the most creative and inventive dystopian books I've read. The dry, unforgiving world built picture a clear and tormenting image, and the use of language makes it even more real and believable.

In a world where reading is something only a very few know, Saba's innocence and child like thought process make sense.

The story is full of action, drama and excitement. It also has some of the typical plot lines of young adult dystopian tales, including the female savior and the mysterious yet enchanting boy.

I gave it 5 stars back when I first read it because I found the writing style very original.

This was, so far, the best book featuring Myron Bolitar. That was also the one with the saddest ending.

I think this one was even better than Deal Breaker, the first book featuring Myron Bolitar. There were many twists and turns, and some of them I was able to solve, which is a good thing, because it means they made sense. The end was fitting and packed, with revelations that added layers to the main characters.

All in all, a great book with you're into creative and well written crime novels.

That was a very interesting and exciting read. It's not a masterpiece, but it'll be a good read for fans of mystery novels.

The caracters are predictable, and so are most of the twist and turns. Despite this, the book is worth readng if you're looking for fun. The pace is frenetic most of the time, and the curiosity to know what would happen next kept me going (and led me to buy Insurgent, the second book of the series).
The plot has more holes than the moon, and if you're looking for a well constructed metaphor for our society, this is not the book for you. But if you're looking to have some fun and excitement, give it a try.
This novel is like The Fast and The Furious franchise, or the Die Hard one, you ignore the insanity and enjoy the moment. It's only enterainment but we all can use some every now and again.

Oh my, this will probably be considered a crime but I hated this book. Maybe it was because of (lack of) time - we were supposed to read 6 american novels for the american literature class and I was extremely stressed and more interested and fascinated by The Great Gatsby, but I had a hard time reading The Sound and The Fury.

Another classic murder mystery.

Took me two weeks to read a 134 pages book, all thanks to poor mental health. First book was entertaining enough to keep me going and to make me get the rest on KU. 

That was surprisingly funny and interesting. Read it in two days.

I have a confession to make: I hated this book.I don't remember when I read it, but I was probably in my early twenties. No way I'd stand another torture like OHYoS. Thankfully, Love in the Time of Cholera won me over and is, to this day, one of the best books I've ever read.Back to the subject, I am not a big fan of magical realism, but everybody kept saying how brilliant this book was, I had to give it a try. I read the whole thing and it left me angry and depressed. At least college showed me that there's more to Gabriel Garcia Márquez than this dark portray of humanity.

It started well but I quickly lost interest and didn't feel compelled to pick the audiobook up. The library lend ended and I accepted it's not for me, at least right now. 

I tried but that book was not for me. I was bored from the start. 

Masterpiece.

I spent over a year not being able to read anything, in one of the worst reading slumps ever thanks to the pandemic, and when I finally manage to finish a book, it's a two star.
I gotta say, Mr Donlea's writing still flows fast and easy, which I appreciate, it helped get out of the slump and rage-read this book in three days.
The plot was boring with too many obvious smoke curtains, the twists were rather obvious. I've read all his books and this one was really disappointing

2 and half stars. The writing style is still as good as Temple's first book, and that's the best thing I can say about this book.

4.5 stars.

It starts with the same formula as The hunting party, but it's better.

I love all three books and wish there were more.

This is a must read to everyone.

I liked this one better than Final Girls.

This book has one of the best curve ball plots I've ever seen. I won't spoil it here but if you're a fan of science fiction and mystery, then you should really check it out.

One of the great things about this book - other than its very interesting plot and very creative twist - it's how visual it is. The descriptions are so clear and lively I could clearly see everything in my mind with all its details. This is very important in book like this.

I haven't read the other books from this series yet but I plan to do it this year.

It was perhaps longer than necessary and it had some good twists.

Good read for your time off.
