Heartfelt and endearing. You can find yourself tripping over your words at times with the BFG's dialect on full display, but a quick, lighthearted read for anyone.
Perfect. I found myself laughing at the macabre inevitability of the story. Orwell uses a very thin veil for his metaphor, but nevertheless, it is done with elegance and precision. I would recommend this book to anyone.
Read this book. That's it. If you are reading this review and curious about whether to add this to your reading list, end your consideration now. For me this is mandatory reading for anyone, and I endeavour to make it an annual read for myself.
