The skill of Rovelli is his ability to philosophise whilst bringing his audience with him. This book does precisely that and it does it so succinctly. Don't get me wrong, the subject matter is far from succinct but at no point do you get lost, you are guided every step of the way. I can imagine for a lay-person that there would be times where your eyes slightly gloss over, but that is the nature of what we don't know, it is so vast.
A beautiful breakdown of Heisenberg and the journey of early Quantum Physics. It's one for lay-people and physicists alike, and that takes a lot of skill in writing. If you are a physicist though, like myself, don't expect detail and breakdowns, more philosophy. This book leans more into the 'why' than the 'how'.
