Going into this I knew that A.R.Torre wont disappoint and it didn't. Fulfilled all my expectations.
I loved d multiple povs and how it alternated between d povs. The twist at the end left me a bit confused but I really enjoyed itt. Def one of my fav books and a very unique plotline.
Def recommend! Actually anything by A.R.Torre, I highly recommend!
The only book I haven't read by her yet is Every last secret should get to that asap.
3.5
I have very conflicting feelings abt this.... coz on one hand I really enjoyed the book and the story but on the other hand it was so boring and I didn't care whether most of the characters lived or died(ik it sounds rude im sorryy)
Also im pretty sure I skimmed through a bit of the book, coz I just wanted to see who the sniper was and the entire reason behind everything.
Which brings me to ‘the reason', I kind of guessed it? But it wasn't like a few pages before it was actually revealed so I wasn't too mad abt that.
Overall I enjoyed my time reading this and the parts that kept me on the edge of my seat.
Ps: Cant wait to read AGGGTM!! Soooo excited for that onee
Idk how much of this book is true but wow I knew there was some controversy surrounding Enid Blyton but I didn't know to what extent.
I don't think I will ever look at her books the same way again knowing what went on behind the writing process.
The part that I was caught by the most was how she said in her magazine or smthg how a real mother should not be working, but being attentive and taking care of the kids but in reality she did the exact opposite of what she said.
Def worth a read! Specially if you loveddd Enid Blyton's books as a kid:)
3.25
I was enjoying the book until I read that freaking epilogue. It ruined the whole book for me:(
Seriously tho the book felt like a 4-4.25 star read but after that epilogue I had to lower my rating to a 3-3.25 star.
Other than that I really enjoyed how twisted and unhinged these characters were and their motives for everything they did.(whoaa!!)
Def recommend this one! Especially if you are looking for a dark fast paced thriller (with extremely unlikable characters) that you can prob finish within a day or 2. But beware of that epilogue:)
This book was just meh and boringgg
I was reading this book for more than 2 MONTHS(yes u read that right 2 MONTHS!)
And the plot and characters were also soo boring, I literally read this book at night if I couldn't sleep and wanted to coz this actually helped me sleep lol.
Other than that I also realized that I am not a huge fan of cult thrillers so maybe that was also a reason as to why I didn't enjoy the book:(
I am thinking of writing a review that will make people understand how much I loved this book but I am still in the process of trying to wrap my head around what happened in it.
Ill try to list them ;
The things these girls had to go through in the garden and the author portrayed how even though some of them escaped how the aftermath is probably just as hard as being in the garden. Because of how much trauma these girls went through.
I loved how each chapter(part) with the detectives was intertwined with a part of them in the garden.
I am going to stop there coz if u haven't read the book yet its best to go in as blind as possible:) But do search up the tws for this because it might be a lot to handle

Such a cool concept but such a bad execution. I am surprised that I even finished the book coz it was SOO boringg. Every single part was BORING. I started this as a buddy read in the beginning of September and just finished it. And reading other reviews I feel like I read a book which was completely different to what the others read:(
Also the writing style was so confusing and hard to understand and I still dont know what happened in the end. Gonna have to ask someone to explain the entire plot of the book to me
