
The book and the rules enticed and intrigued me. It started off amazing but less than half way through
I realized how religious it was. I did not intend to read a religious book. I understand how important it might be for the author to explain where the inspiration or even evidence of his thoughts came from. However it’s just not something I am interested in reading.
It often felt like some stories could’ve been skipped and a few essays made more succinct because I couldn’t connect the point of the essay to the rule being explained.
Taking about the rules itself, I’ll certainly be implementing quite a few of them in my life. The book is filled with great insights and research which was much more interesting than the biblical references and the history lessons :P
