This book made me feel a lot of things, so much that I lost count of my reactions , especially the angst and feels. The plot twists had my jaw dropping to the floor and so immerse into how and why or what the hell?!
The perspectives; Harper, Will, and Ardyn were really fun to read. One of those felt like playing detective on them, plucking out what this person is about and what's their backstory. I will say there were some dramatic scenes where it could be fixed. Harper, the main character, is truly an angel, someone who you'd want as a best friend, a confidant who you can trust your life and secrets with. I loved her so much I was truly hoping she'd get her happy ending in this story.
The side characters were my favorites as well besides the main ones. They're witty and badass to have around; I can't wait/hope they will get their story as well. The mystery behind one is killing me to know their life and story before this came about.
I'd say this holds a bit of suspense if you squint very hard. The emotional and angst parts had me crying and choking up. The push and pull, the love triangle, growing up and trying to figure out what's happening between the main characters, and lastly but not least one main perspective felt raw and his journey to serving his way to life had me hit in the chest with feels and pain.
This debut book truly holds a lot of potential, maybe a few hiccups to fix but nonetheless I truly enjoyed this. There were even tropes I don't usually read as often but this book changed my mind; I want to read more like this. I highly recommend this. You won't be able to put it down and want to read to the very end.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to read this as an arc reader, like I've said before I can't wait to read more of your future work!!
Ahh I can't believe this is the end of the Sugarlake Series...the feeling of this book left me is bittersweet but so happy to see how all this played out in the end!
This is the book everyone, including myself, have been waiting for! This was literally the cherry on top for everything this series has come to when you and if you've read the other books.

We meet Lily once again from when she suddenly disappeared from book one; where has she been?! She has a past, something she could not outrun ever and has scars & secrets kept beneath the surface. (Had to put it there!)
We see her now as an adult, with a son who she dearly puts everything in for him before her. Lily hoped she wouldn't face her past or anyone for that matter, unfortunately it was wishful thinking. Her demons as well as people she ran from has come back, and she was held onto to come back to where it all began, Sugarlake, Tennessee.
Mason, he's an investigator, hired to find Lily and report back to Chase once she's been found. Yet he didn't do that, he was so allured to her, wondering why she ran away and the darkness she carries around herself. Desperate to know her story and before it was too late, love was blossoming.

Ah, going into this, I knew this was going to be heavy and it currently put me through a whirlwind of emotions and heartache! I would like to prewarn y'all that this book has tons of trigger warnings such as drug abuse and rape so read at your own risk!
Love was not supposed to happen especially for an investigator that's supposed to do his job but he couldn't help himself when it came to Lily Adams. If you've read Emily's other books you'd see what each book has in common, a forbidden/not supposed to happen love story but of course it happens anyways! Who wouldn't want to read such a thrilling trope
I can't believe this is the end of The Redwood Rebels, it's a bittersweet feeling! The journey through this series is amazing and shocking; I'm actually sad this is the end but nonetheless each of the books had HEA.
It's a requirement to read book 1 and so on in order because it's all connected.
Finally we get to see and read Zed's story!
This book is everything and my number 1 favorite of this year! Reading this took me on a long slow burn journey. The characters are written very raw and it hit me in every way in my bones and heart.
It's a very heartwarming and heartbreaking story to read, if you're like me who loves deep driven stories with angst and spice, this book is for you! I can't tell you enough how much I highly recommend this series to many readers who love romance and angst. Emily made sure her books have HEA and Trust the Process was in this, through hardships that Blakely had to go through. There are trigger warnings such as ocd and eating disorders.
Jax is my #1 book boyfriend, since book 1 I've always loved him even through bits of pieces of him through the series. He was always a second choice and just someone to lean on. From the last book, he's bruised from how things went in Sugarlake and for that he had to move on in the hardest way and heal on his own. He's a charming flirt with a good sense of humor and heart of gold. It takes someone like Blakely to see so much more than what the public sees, and he just may have found someone that'll choose him always.
Blakely, oh where do I start with her, you wrote her with so much realism Emily. Her process from how she shows herself to be to who she really is something to analyze deeply. She has issues that take her a long time to realize and accept. Her journey is worth the read and it's not just mentally but physically to how she is. (Again keeping it vague for you readers!) She's a social media influencer for herself and brand of things but it's so on point to where everything has to be perfect....too perfect; Image and reputation.
At times I cried because of what she goes through, I could relate. It's a hard hitting home run for me that she does so much to keep herself in shape but her mental health gets the best of her. Emily, you wrote her character so raw and beautiful in a way to let us all know that it's ok to not be ok and to get what is needed, help. Mental health isn't talked about enough but authors like Emily really nailed it perfectly in these characters to make them aware of it themselves. Therapy was again mentioned in this like in the last two books.
Both Jax and Blakely are polar opposites but at the same time so perfect for eachother on a personal emotional level. Both deserve the love they need and to be chosen always for first choice. The spiciness was a top notch of hotness, slow and passionate. The hot tension got me feeling all bothered, in a good way! I had to take a breather every 5-10 minutes when the atmosphere went to 180!
I swear I need to stop saying who's my favorite character for every book...I love them all and Rachel you just made me more emotional and moved by this, Tommy and Wyatt's love story was an epic one!
What started out as revenge, bully romance and enemies to lovers to die heart emotional soulmates! Each book gets better and more raw with emotions, and you got me falling harder for your characters, especially the rebel boys!
This was very very sweet and swoon worthy read! The setting before Blairwood University was rather interesting since I didn't know what to expect. Anna you really kill it with these characters, giving such traits about them, as well one I hated yet was so written really well! It was over all wholesome and super sweet even with the family dynamic we read about with Kate's situation.
I did notice this was more light hearted than the book 1 and 2, not much angst but you still gave us something to fall deeply for and abit to cry about. So good
Gian and Rhea's story is something to die for (really bad references/pun) I don't read this trope very often; mafia romance, enemies to lovers and arranged marriage.
Gian and Rhea never were all for love in their life, different situations of upbringing but somewhat of the same circumstances. This arranged marriage did just that but they didn't expect it to come at them. Yet attractions for each other were very strong and there from the moment they met.
Without giving away too much. Gian is a ruthless cold-blooded mob King. He does his dirty work and all in for La Famigila. He's not one to want to settle down or have a family. For that he has his reasoning and to cut love out of the equation too. He's a made man with a tough upbringing.
Rhea is a head-on sassy girl with a story of her own. She's been let down all her life by men that toss her around but she's determined to serve justice for those who's been in her place. This is where the arrangement came in, it held the bargains on both ends for them.

First and foremost I'd like to thank the author Natalia for giving me this opportunity to read Gian even though I have not read Gio or Gemma but I surely will because now I'm very curious of their story and how it became to be of what I've read in Gian.
This was a very enjoyable read, the prologue was instantly in action. The start of glimpse on our main character, Gemma.
She's a mother of three, and in need of a job to keep a roof over her head as well her kids. Husband and father gone, she her supporters, aka her best friends. One happens to help and lead her to a job. A job she was not expected, given contracts that she didn't read everything but is she willing to risk losing her heart again and give herself over or will her past creep up again that'll push away everything she'd worked so hard for.
This was a very subtle and sensual, gave off 50 shades of grey vibe without the bondage. At first there were so many times I wanted to shake Gemma or pour cold ice water over her because of her harsh mannerism..and her oblivious self. It took me awhile to like her...she got better towards the middle to the end. In all aspects though, I'd have to give her some understanding for how and why she is the way she is. Her and Kristoff, the chemistry was hit off instantly...like physically hot
This was rather an interesting new read for me and I'm honestly all for it! I've read a couple of DD/LG on wattpad but reading this is like something definitely for a beginner like myself.
I really loved the kinky relationship between Abby and Rufus, but with the caring and loving aspects of it too. Abby being completely new and innocent in the beginning but turns into a kinky little girl has a way of turning around in span of little time but in a nice flow process!
The love that blossomed between them is just utterly beautiful and how he changed her ways from a lazy unhealthy girl to a dependent and amazing woman she is; despite the fact she still has her girly ways it can be understood. The way Rufus cared and loved her, in a sweet and demanding got me feeling feeling all hot; so much devotion in being the best Dom!
This was so good and I loved it so much I had to get Princess Brat
This is my first time reading a book by Rachel Leigh and I truly fell in love with Striker and can't wait for book 2! Left off on such a good cliffhanger yet I'm like I must have book two right now! >.< This is a MUST MUST read if you love dark romances; this is very dark and deep with heavy topics and sexual content that some readers may not be comfortable with so you've been warned!
Striker holds a lot of secrets, dangerous ones that just might kill you. (
This was a heavy, intense, painful and emotional read. I mean every word of it.
I can't tell you how many times when conflict clashed, it felt like a bullet hit right to my heart and I cried a couple of times throughout the book. It was a very hard read but nothing I couldn't handle but I'd take precautions if you can't handle a lot q of trigger warnings and very dark matters!
I want to briefly mention that this is a second book in North Haven University so I have not read the first book but after reading this I want to read more by this author!
Reading Jace's chapters was very dark and personal, it was like living inside of his head and his feelings were very raw, his struggles; with going about since that night was endearing for him. Jace was a broken traumatized soul that needed guidance to better himself and this book has taught us a few things and I believe that's why it's called Change My Game. I could empathize on his feelings which hit very close to home for me.
Paige is such an angel, always there for anyone and puts them before her. My heart crushed every time she faced the worst and she had to be strong. Stubborn but no quitter either. She becomes a huge rock for Jace and her loved ones that she can sometimes need someone there for her as well. Hesitated at first about helping Jace out without knowing what she was getting herself into. As she got closer and closer to Jace, secrets were unraveled, in a brutal painful way. She pulls herself away from it all, but always find her way back to him no matter what:
