DNF 74%. It was looking like a 4 star book with great chemistry between the MCs, great writing and great plot. The sexual tension was incredible. The conflict in the middle with the FMC running away because they slept in a hotel room of the MMC was stupid though and I felt the plot went downhill from there. Iost interest and stopped reading for a while, almost giving up but tried to push through.
The sexual tension and chemistry really ended after the hotel scene though at 50%
It was really cliche for both the MCs to both have tragic background stories and communication problems being the reason for the demise of their relationship. And the trope of the MMC having a nightmare and sleep talking about their trauma is really overdone.
There's a really great scene where the MMC wins the FMC back at a party but after that, I lost interest again
Neither the FMC or MMC were likeable or unlikable. I did find the MMC swoonworthy at times but other times he was just bland and cliche
