I had to sit with this one for a bit to understand its meaning, which means I enjoyed it.

Although it's far from pristine literature, this is some of the most fun I've ever had reading. Just a barrel of laughs and joy all the way through.

Really dug this, much more than I thought I was going to initially! Kell and Lila are both very likable characters. By the end I was pining for more, and kind of wished I had picked up the sequel instead of Project Hail Mary to read next.

It's rare that I read a book that I truly do not like, but The Grapes of Wrath fits that description. While I did mildly enjoy the “descriptive” chapters, as I call them, the more narrative chapters that follow the Joad family were a chore to read. The ending was truly bizarre and felt like it had completely out of nowhere.

This book started off kind of slow, and I wasn't sure I was going to like it enough to finish. Thankfully, I did finish, and by the end I was totally sold. Tree of Smoke is one of the best books I've read so far this year.

While some of the political correctness of the book might be dated, the overall effect Snow Crash has still holds up. Truly mind blowing, completely original, a masterpiece down to the last word.

As a hardcore escape room/immersive experience enthusiast, this was right up my alley. Beautifully written and just like any great form of immersive entertainment, it kept me hooked until the very end.

This is one of the most gorgeous, beautifully moving books I've ever read. (or in this case, listened to) I don't think I've ever gotten chills like I've gotten after I finished Should We Fall Behind. Heartfelt and emotional, this is a novel you must check out.

In all of the time I've used Goodreads, I've never felt compelled to write a review. That all changes today, and I'm so excited to be able to leave a review of this absolutely beautiful book. I've also never started to get teary-eyed after finishing a book, but this, small, simple 100 page book did just that. This book is like a Pixar or Ghibli film, you think the target audience is “for kids”, but really, the target audience is “for everyone.” There has never been a book I think I can recommend as highly as this one. Regardless of how old you are, READ THIS BOOK.

Loved it. It was extremely powerful and had an effect on me.
